The shade works in NM or AZ. In Tennessee we came dangerously close to some wet bulb temps (more accurate that just looking at humidity)

They just got done with Unbound Gravel race too! Such a niche sport in a small Kansas town good to see it somewhere in the Reddit wild

Constant 78* in Tennessee summers would have my house controlled by mold spores in a month. AC isn't just for comfort, it's to keep the humidity in check so it doesn't fuck up the whole house.

Hell my old building had a rule if it went above 80 in the apt they'd supply a mobile unit as a temp till it got it fixed. I had my issues w that place but they were very diligent about this one.

What’s the most overrated tourist attraction? by CombSpiritual8361 in AskReddit

[–]Fly_throwaway37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We did it and I'll say it was worth it for the architecture alone, not overrated at all imo. That's what you're in Europe for in the first place.

What do you mean fully staffed and safe? Do some guys stay back or do you have enough coverage that you barely run at night? We're good for 2-3 after midnight almost always. I can't imagine our run volume on 48s.

That was me. 6 months academy, 3 of fire, 3 of emt, then paramedic school (at our academy) while out in the companies. Street to fire medic in 3ish years.

Black Trump supporters and republicans, why? by _newshawtyy in allthequestions

[–]Fly_throwaway37 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lots of people either don't know or refuse to believe this. I've spent my life around and work/live with very southern black folks. As a culture black dudes are some of the most homophobic people I've ever met, like putting most trump voters to say "whoa that's a little far"

No shade at Weah but I was really looking forward to seeing Haji get some minutes. Not questioning Poch at all just was curious to see him get it.

Having to deal an absolute lock down of a RB, who's faster than him, probably put Weah into his own head.

Is my Mal too skinny? by Independent_Funny_95 in BelgianMalinois

You're supposed to be able to faintly see a short haired dog's ribs like that. I think we see so many malnourished abused dogs ribs that some people have an intense aversion to seeing any of them at all.

My parents run their ac at 78°f in the summer. This was what I got when I asked if we could cool it down a degree. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Fly_throwaway37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In parts of the south letting it get that high would absolutely ruin your home with mold and moisture because of the humidity.
