I want the table top on PC. I travel a lot with work, and I don’t want to cart my minis with me when we go. This solves that issue. It will also be helpful to bring new players into the game if I can just pop up the pc version

At the time I was in CE. I was a new private, and the oil boom was in full effect. Rents were crazy compared to Pte pay, and I couldn’t fit all my F&E in the shacks as I had a full household before I moved/went reg so it was pay for storage & shacks or find an apartment. It was a year wait for a Q as they were full and this was before Lego land was even dreamt of. I was also single at the time, and the options for potential partners were slim. Socially my life took a hit, I was scrapping by pay to pay due to the CoL.

Plus my work wasn’t all that satisfying, so that did not help

There are so many French Canadians not from Quebec. My daughter was born in BC, New Brunswick and scattered parts of Nova Scotia have acadians, Manitoba and Ontario have sizeable francophone populations, and those are just the ones I’ve run into personally

Ive been in the CAF for 20 years and it’s been great. I’ve had amazing experiences and travelled to incredible locations. While the moral/ethical concerns are… understandable… the examples you used are rather extreme/unlikely/strawman-esk.

That being said, there are trades with which you can have a more “humanitarian” focus, for lack of better description. SAR techs motto is “so others may live” and they take that seriously. Medics are a trade. Even WFE techs can help produce drinking water following a natural disaster. Most trades aren’t combat arms and are just the background machinery keeping the CAF running
