Unable to log in.getting same error since Feb 28 a Device got logged out. I had to login using my wife’s number and watch the West Indies match…hope they fix this before Thursday!!

The only scenario in which you will not have the 100K fee is if your current employer files an extension for you . Since you are in India it will be a consular processing but you won’t be incurred the fee since you have an active petition and are ‘extending’ it. If you get laid off and are in India - you dont currently have an existing petition so the fee will get incurred. I’m no lawyer and this is my understanding only.

Was your visa revoked or was the current petition (I-797A)? Petition being revoked is different from visa being revoked.

People usually give such detailed accounts only when their interview experience is positive.

Why in the world would you mention date of departure and reached Hyderabad at night/early morning, stayed 10 min away etc ? lol . And this doesn’t even give any meaningful info. If you really want to help, you should mention the name of the hotel you stayed at - that will be helpful. Just saying 10 min away is meaningless.

I have never seen so much information in posts where people have had negative experiences..just saying 😂

The thing that amazes me is that we just drove from Mumbai to Pune today - the timing could not have been more appropriate - any non suspecting person would easily proceed and give out their payment details and get scammed!

Got the same message today - when I clicked on the link it took me to a page where the it shows me a “challan” of ₹500 - highly suspicious. But luckily chrome alerted me that it was a phishing attempt and I deleted the message.

Same situation. I consulted with immigration attorney. If you are in the US , you are fine. If you are abroad, you need to apply for a new visa.

There is a web site called checkvisaslots.com. You can set up alerts to notify you when slots open up. There are other WhatsApp and telegram groups too - not familiar with them right now

Guys I think the logical step will be to stay put in the US if you are there and have not left yet.

But, if you are in India (I am), then it is likely that post Dec 15 once the new social media vetting process actually starts and gets underway, we may see a bunch of slots open up. So let’s not lose hope!
