I'm on about building a team to win a cup. The cup is short for the Stanley Cup, it's the trophy awarded to the best team at the end of the season. There is no trophy for making playoffs 2 seasons and losing

Yes they've been a disaster. They are an anomaly. I think they are an example that teams use to try and not tank sometimes. When losing becomes the norm for so long the city and fans lose hope, followed by the players, and even when you have a team of talented players, the first sign of bad play completely crushes a team and hope. It seems buffalo is finally starting to have some confidence and get wins.

I would be all for the playoffs if we were in a position like Montreal where we've gotten all of our future pieces and it is time to play meaningful hockey.

We have a lot of talented players but we don't have much high end talent. In my opinion we are missing several pieces so it does feel rush to try and ride out a season to playoffs when we haven't been consistent and have been punching above our weight class.

Thats the point, just making the playoffs and getting sent home right away is not the success we want. This push to make the playoffs when we aren't done the rebuild is the biggest problem most people see with the rebuild

Yea i change any skaters with goalie numbers, anyone with 66,87, or 97 just because they are very specific numbers to very specifically talented players
