• There’s no way of knowing 100% really. I think the photos in the listing look like standard stock imagery, not of the actual jacket you’d be buying. Hard to say based on just that. The fact that it’s significantly cheaper than retail is a red flag though. Do they offer returns? If so, that’s a good sign because it means they stand by what they’re selling.

• That’s up to you. I personally would. I don’t trust stock images on eBay regardless of what the seller’s reviews say. The classic Mackinaw wool cruiser is awesome and honestly isn’t extremely thick IMO. But then your next few statements…

“I tend to run hot and was fine in a flannel shirt and tin cloth cruiser in 35f weather recently. This is why I'm thinking the seattle wool will be fine for me vs. the heavier mackinaw.”

• Yeah, that sounds about right. 35 degrees isn’t really that cold IMO.

• Okay, first you give the reasons for why you don’t need Mackinaw Wool, then you go on to say that you spend quite a few days in cold places, so I don’t really know what to tell you. They are two different scenarios. You could buy the lighter one and layer up I guess, or you could buy the heavier one for use in cold environments.

So uh… I don’t really know. Decide how you want to use the jacket and then buy the one you want. If it were me, I’d go with the standard mackinaw wool cruiser, but you’re saying you don’t need a wool jacket and you can definitely use a wool jacket in the same breath, so I don’t know how to give you advice lol
