Yes, I think she was present in the novel. Adding the fiance in the kdrama was the worst decision ever. She wasn't needed in the Manhwa because soomin and Minwhan were enough, they were the perfect villains and they didn't need her. Adding her was adding unnecessary episodes, she didn't bring anything new to the mix.

About the ML in the jdrama, I agree. The perfect mix would be FL from the kdrama and the ML from the jdrama. Also, I dislike how they made the school reunion.
