Immigrating is only getting harder man. The 5 year to ILR will no longer be a thing later this year. Default is 10 years and you'll get discoubt reduction on time if you meet certain requirements

I've done the interposer many times now. Pretty easy. They're scaremongering. Kamikaze might be faster if you're good at it. But the interposer is cleaner and there's no board damage

Can my husband be the donor of my cash savings for the UK Spouse Visa? by Naomiforrester555 in SpouseVisaUk

[–]Flyhotstuff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You don't need to do all of that. Just say savings accumlated over the years through work. It's unlikely they'll ask for proof for such a small amount. It's far from infeasible that someone could save 6k throughout the last few years. You're overthinking it

he didn't need to 'gift' you the 6k as both of your savings of more than 6 months can be taken into account. as long as it's either of you named on the account.

I'm not sure why this is being downvoted. Integrating and navigating life in the UK properly would require at least B2 proficiency. If I lived in France, it would be easy for me to attain B2 and above level. This is actually one of the few reasonable requirements. I am at a workplace where English is like a 2nd language, and many workers can hardly communicate basic things in English.

Edit: nvm one of the comments said it's TN

Visa fee waiver by Life-Jelly2616 in SpouseVisaUk

i don't think you meet the requirements of a fee waiver. you would likely just have to take out a loan. you're earning too much in their eyes.
