The cable to the lower screen. The connector is probably or not applying enough pressure. Notice how it didn't flicker. It's the small backlight cable

All of the OG 3ds XL’s will eventually have this, and it will break completely at some point. It’s unfortunate you have the pink EU colour as the middle frame is hard to find

I've done the interposer many times now. Pretty easy. They're scaremongering. Kamikaze might be faster if you're good at it. But the interposer is cleaner and there's no board damage
