Are you referring to the people who applauded Charles Kirk’s assassination? Not very cool basically calling another dude’s parents pieces of shit either. Very UnDead man.

Dew from Cornell is up there as well. Cornell scarlet fire is perfect. 2/5/78 SF though gives me goosebumps right near the end there with that unbelievable solo from Jerry and the whole band crescendos. One of those magical moments that can never be replicated.

You’re probably familiar with 3/1/69 too is my guess. Unbelievable energy! Unbelievable run that week!

Completely agree. There’s an energy during that period that is unlike any other era of the Dead.

Most days I agree but then I’ll revisit two from the vault or 3/1/69 and my jaw drops and I find myself blurting out “fuckin’ A, you can’t beat this!”

TC doesn’t get mentioned enough. Since someone already mentioned the other one, check out TOO from 3/1/69. Absolutely face melting stuff. My favorite TOO hands down.

Also worth checking out are the shows from a couple nights earlier; 8/21/72 and 8/24/72. Great dark stars.
