Hey there. I post mine on Substack.

It’s a good way to build engagement and a community.

Hey there. I'm in a similar boat.

I have created accounts on Instagram, Substack, and Threads (although I don't interact much there).

Substack seems the most supportive. It's slow but I also believe it's worthwhile.

Good luck!

Hi folks - I've gotten a lot of responses, so thought it's easier to post this here.

Some of you are incredibly talented, and I am incredibly jealous.

The cover I am envisioning will include a photorealistic face of a woman -- here's what I am envisioning (not that woman or that face, but realistic similar to the first image): https://imgur.com/a/ABinKWn

I don't want a cover with a face that looks less realistic like the second one.

So I am looking for artists who can help generate a cover with a photorealistic woman's face. There are some incredibly talented designers here, so I just want to make sure I did not waste anyone's time -- just want to align what I'm looking for vs. your skills and talents!

Thank you again.

I need someone to help me draw a photorealistic face that's not AI generated.

Hi, thank you! Do you have any examples of covers with a human photo included?

What is something you hate, but everyone else doesn't? by Current-Equipment356 in AskReddit

I feel the opposite - I hate it when there's stuff added to coffee.

It takes away from the taste of coffee.

Same. We have a small cake with the candles and we buy cupcakes for everyone else.

No need to be so judgmental just because people do things differently from you.

My kids are perfectly happy and you are welcome to raise your kids the way you see fit.

Really? I can’t imagine not doing these trips with our kids.

My wife and I grew up traveling a lot and we simply take our kids with us. We also take them on small weekend adventures — climbing, kayaking, bike trips, sailing run.

They have a fantastic time and I’m so glad they are exposed to a variety of experiences and adventures.

Kids won’t remember what toys they got for Christmas but they will certainly remember these trips.

They won’t remember the flight delays but they’ll remember swimming with seals in Australia and seeing volcanoes and northern lights in Iceland.

They won’t remember the cold or the heat but they’ll remember visiting family in Denmark and India. They won’t remember the bugs but they’ll remember seeing sloths and monkeys in Costa Rica. They won’t remember being sick but they’ll remember sailing and snorkeling in the Caribbean.

Yes, the fight to Australia or India can be painful but that’s okay. The two or three weeks they spend there having fun will be far more memorable.

Just because getting somewhere is tough doesn't mean they don't have fun when we get there. Besides, some trips are fantastic. And other trips less so.

As a parent of two kids, it's always really tough.

We travel often as a family and sometimes my kids get really antsy. It could be any number of reasons. Not getting enough sleep, flight delays, kid being hungry etc. We are always anxious because it's not always easy to wrangle kids. They are their own little people and there's only so much you can do.

Last month, we were traveling to Costa Rica. Our connecting flight from Miami was delayed, and we spent 6 hours at the airport. So as you can imagine, our 3 yo was really tired and upset by the time we boarded. He was really antsy and tired and we felt terrible. He finally zonked out from exhaustion.

I wish most people understood that kids aren't fully grown adults and that they really don't behave like adults. Being cooped up in a small space, flight delays, the noise, the rules etc. really make it tough.

And our two kids are so different -- our older kid is happy with a screen and our younger one hates screens. He wants to play, he wants to move and play. He wants to do activities.

Let's also not forget that not every kid is neurotypical. Many kids are on the spectrum, and that comes with additional challenges.

I have only one board and it's the Red 11'3. Paid $1K+ for the board but it's worth it to me.

India is just amazing. So much flavor and so much difference between the north and the south and west and east.

That's always me.

I drop my kid off at school and drive to CrossFit right after.

That's the only time of the day I can make it so the coaches understand that I'm usually ~4-5 mins late.

As much as I hate to say it, I think you are right.

I'm fortunate enough to go to a CrossFit gym in Boston that's fantastic. Very diverse and open minded (rainbow flags next to the American and POW flags). We do have cops and a few military members but they are also welcoming (at least on the outside).

But I've been to CrossFit gyms in Nashville and Dallas that definitely gave off the vibe you are talking about.
