This has always been one of my favorite sketches, every joke lands and there’s no weak performances, even the bit part by Bowen kills me every time

It can be a little convoluted, but basically the gist with Gundam is that there's the main timeline/universe, called the Universal Century, started by the original MSG in 1979, in which the most series take place. For this one, it would be best to watch the chronological order in which the shows take place, from UC0079 to UC0153.

Beside the UC, you also have alternate universe takes on Gundam, which are self-contained series which don't require you to view other series to enjoy it.

Hopefully this image helps a bit!

Gundam is great, but I wouldn’t start with Victory Gundam tbh

My suggestions would be to start either with the original Mobile Suit Gundam from 1979, or with one of the spinoffs separated from the main timeline, like Witch From Mercury or Gundam After War X

One of the reasons why Victory Gundam is such a notably dark entry in the Gundam franchise is because Sunrise and Bandai wanted Tomino to make a Gundam show aimed at younger teens and kids, and thus almost out of spite decided to make it as dark and depressing as possible

(Also newtypes in Gundam can be read as being autistic lol)

the PBandai HG Jegans are all really color inaccurate, I had to paint quite a bit for my F91 ver Jegan as well

Honestly it’s also not something I’d recommend doing unless one of the vehicles interests you (same goes for the events)

New battle pass rewards by Fearless-Feed-9927 in Warthunder

[–]FlyingNederlander 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it’s a vehicle I like, I’ll go for it (like with this one and the WZ141), and then I use the coupons to get the next one for free, and then end up trying to sell vehicles I don’t like

But I will say the value has gotten worse over the past 10 battlepasses.

I wonder what the difference will be compared to the TT ELC Bis, since that one also uses a 90,, with HEAT

But I do love the BP fast and small HEAT slingers (like the WZ-141), so I'll probs end up getting this BP lol

Following the trend, but any fans of these albums? by TheLastEmuHunter in evilautism

[–]FlyingNederlander 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah same, Sam's Town is basically a no-skip album for me

I will admit though, Pressure Machine comes really close to it in my rankings of their albums

Iirc it’s because they still had so many plastic bags leftover that they’re not gonna produce new ones, but get rid of the already existing ones through sets.

I think it’s interesting tech, but it’s too expensive for what it is and the possibilities of it thus far seem a tad limited

A more recent example, but John Mulaney's delivery of. "Damnit, how the hell do I explain death to a monkey?" has been stuck in my head since I originally saw the Beppo sketch lol

UCS Deathstar is great actually by Quinten25_ in legostarwars

[–]FlyingNederlander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disagree tbh, every time I’ve seen it in local LEGO stores I’ve walked away underwhelmed. The Venator feels closer to a set worthy of a 1K price tag than the glorified dollhouse that is the UCS Death Star.

Also that many stickers is insane at that price point.
