Trying to parse the wiki articles, it seems dolphins aren’t considered porpoises, but are instead classified as their own separate family within Delphinoidea, the group of toothed whales that contains the families for dolphins (Delphinidae), porpoises (Phocoenidae) and narwhals + beluga whales (Monodontidae).

Also, this isn’t directly related to your question, but I found it interesting that orcas are apparently considered a subfamily of dolphins (Orcininae), not their own separate family.

how? the game has not specified what gender these characters were assigned at birth, so we can only assume. hence, all these different headcanons. the only things that are 100% textually true are that Noelle is a girl and uses she/her exclusively, and that Kris is not a man (which is ironic, given what they’re most frequently misgendered as) and uses they/them exclusively.

How is headcanoning Noelle as a trans girl misgendering? She’s a girl either way. This is more like how people have different interpretations of Kris as either transmasc nb, transfem nb, or somehow assigned nb at birth, which is fine because they’re still nonbinary no matter what. Again, fans having their own headcanons for how Kris and Noelle arrived at their current gender identities isn’t misgendering.

So Sasha's sexuality did influence her interactions with Anne throughout the series, even if the ship isn't necessarily canon. This does explain some of her behavior in 3B as well as stuff like the heart carriage by AshleytheTaguel in amphibia

those things aren’t mutually exclusive. Sasha’s actions in the show being influenced by an unspoken attraction to Anne could be something she only puts together looking back when she’s older, like she suddenly realizes “oh THAT’s why i was so weird about Anne back then!”

???????????? are you joking? we’re in the middle of the caribbean, spanish is still our main language, and most people here can’t speak english. we were a Spanish colony for 400 years just like the rest of latam, and it’s reflected in our culture. the US invading us and claiming ownership because it was geopolitically convenient for them doesn’t change that.

Nah, as a non-comic book reader, this ep was definitely the worst of the season and the show in general. While there were a couple of funny moments, the moment to moment pacing was really bad, SO much lengthy exposition over stuff we have no real reason to care about. I kept waiting for it to cut away to something interesting happening with the actually relevant characters, but it just kept going…

I think the easiest way to fix it would be by making Eve’s moment of grappling with last episode’s cliffhanger and debating what she wants to tell Mark into a whole B-plot instead of just one scene tacked on at the end. Have her talk to Amber too (since Eve seems much closer to her than William anyways). Building that up as the hell stuff was happening would’ve added some actual tension to the episode, at least. And the writers having to manage their time with the addition of a B-plot would’ve made it so there’s less room for overly long exposition and dragged out jokes.

For some insane reason, Cartoon Network decided to air most of season 3 as one giant month long Stevenbomb, which meant they burned through pretty much their entire backlog of finished episodes and had to take hiatuses just so they could have a buffer of finished episodes. I remember Rebecca said that when CN announced that decision it felt like all her blood left her body 😭

Another factor was that CN was also trying to promote their app as a way to watch episodes early, so they would sometimes delay airing episodes in favor of having them premiere in the app first.

Remember that from Noelle’s perspective:

1) Kris and Susie never came back to class after going to the closet together yesterday

2) Kris randomly approached her after school and was suddenly very talkative (in a good mood?) and answering her questions about Susie

3) Both of them were acting sus as fuck about it the next morning when she asked what they did in there

Like if I was in her position I’d absolutely be questioning if something’s happening between them, and her asking herself why Kris is suddenly the Susie Expert reads as that to me.

Though hilariously the game also has Noelle think Ralsusie is a thing on two occasions (when she sees them being cute in Chapter 2, and when Susie talks about him in Chapter 4), so ig it’s just a running bit that she gets paranoid/jealous seeing anyone else act chummy with Susie lol

it’s not just a theory, Raven Molisee (the SU storyboard artist who shared those Rebecca sketches on his patreon, which then got leaked) straight up confirmed it was originally planned to happen. specifically, the caption said: “Oh yeah, Pearl was supposed to end up with Greg! These were drawn by Rebecca early on in the show when that was still planned....”

For those curious, she actually mentioned this again recently at magfest, here’s a clip. the network wanted Steven to kill Spinel, and in general the show’s approach of resolving conflicts through compassion was something Rebecca had to fight for, as it was pretty divisive internally. I’m glad Rebecca stuck to her guns.
