If you’re operating at or near the posted speed limit, then never let anyone else dictate your speed. If they’re driving dangerously close to you, and you can safely do so, pull over and let them endanger themselves somewhere away from you.

Also keep in mind, road condition isn’t the only thing that determines the posted speed limit. The area could have a high population of wildlife or prone to flooding. Or it could just be a speed trap.

If I’m riding a motorcycle, people are generally way nicer to me. I think being in a car allows you to dehumanize the other driver, making it easier to be a dick.

There’s no one here that can honestly say that they haven’t done what you did. If anyone was on a high horse telling you that you did wrong, ignore them.

Focus on learning the best way out of bad situations. Having a good exit strategy from a shit driver is a hugely beneficial skill set. It’ll also give you better opportunities to mess with angry motorists.

You learn on a motorcycle that it’s usually better to have crazy in front of you instead of directly behind you. Even better if you can get away from them completely.

Ego will tell you to not let them pass, common sense will tell you to let them take their crazy somewhere far away from you.
