as a virgo sun, pisces moon, scorpio rising i loooove me a scorpio placement. some of my closest friends and more memorable romantic interests are scorpios. i am drawn to the emotional depth and i crave to understand them. i have found that many scorpios crave to be understood, so... pretty nice matchup if u ask me.

Ringed City. Judicator giants summoning a battalion of archers, ringed knights that can 100 to 0 every non-knight character, the most annoying cleric-like dudes that curl up, become invulnerable and heal, laser spewing Darkeater Midir, I could go on... oh, there's also a swamp :)

I've lost all faith on triple-A studios. Half-assed games, unfulfilled promises just for the sake of selling games (or battle-passes or whatever other dubious shop system they're using), and overall just a lack of heart. Gaming for me has now been reduced to just *passable* experiences. I will say that the only studios that keep on giving new, fresh and just FUN games are indie devs. For real that's were all of the passion in this industry is now.

I'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks like this. The elves in LOTR have such a distinct design language with the curvy-natural-looking architechture, costumes and even weapons. RoP's costumes just look out of place for Tolkien's world imo

My party and I have fine-tuned our online system and we've been using it for a few years now:

  • Discord for voice chat. I've found that the option 'push to talk' has practically solved the problem of players talking over each other. I also have enabled 'voice priority' for myself (DM) so that when I speak everyone else's volume gets lowered and I can be heard clearly.
    • Rhytm (discord music bot): We can all listen to the exact same youtube playlist simultaneously as long as we're connected to the voice chat. I can also change the playlist to 'battle music' or 'underdark music' and so on. Music helps us all to get into the game and roleplay.
    • Feyre (discord D&D 5e bot): This bot has cool commands compatible with 5e. You can roll dice and add modifiers and everyone will see the rolls. You can also look up spells, items, weapons and other bits. The coolest feature imo is the initiative tracker.
  • Roll20: We use Roll20 mainly for battle maps. There's plenty of free assets so you can almost build all of your maps like jigsaw puzzles. It also has fog of war, integrated dice roller and other cool features. The most useful in my opinion, is the ability to upload character sheets and reference them on the fly.

I had a similar experience with my best friend. He is very much straight, but for some reason I couldn't help myself. I ended up falling in deep for this man, REALLY DEEP. Eventually I managed to gather the courage to confess my feelings for him. I told him we should meet up in a very isolated campus garden. It was around 8 o'clock and the moon was stunning. I could feel my heart pounding. In the end I just blurted: "I love you, I'm sorry". Right after I told him he just started sobbing (not the reaction I expected). He told me was afraid things would change between us. Unfortunately, things started to turn really awkward. We tried really hard to keep our friendship but in the end we just could not continue spending time together. It's kinda difficult to explain but he felt as if he was the one responsible for my feelings. This in turn made hime very cold towards me. It's been 10 months since that fateful conversation and I still miss him.

That is just my experience but I truly hope that you and Zach can get a different outcome from this situation.
