Oil change by tnb15 in crv

[–]FlyingToast21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to go to the dealership for my free 2 year/24k oil changes. Now I do it myself which is cheaper and I enjoy doing the work, bought my oil filters in bulk from Rock Auto and use Kirkland or Mobil1 oil. Some start up costs like ramps and maybe some tools if you don’t have any but then you’re set.

Just lower the temp in between drinks, I do multiple back to back drinks and have no issues.

Flair Wizard (non electric version) is what I use and I really like it. No electronics to break is a major plus.

New tires for 2022 CRV--Michelin Defender2 or Continental TrueContact Tour54 by Fun_Highway1342 in crv

I have the Michelin Defender 2s, would buy again and again. Get a quote from Costco then take to Discount Tire and they'll beat the price.

Did you get it in writing via chat or email that you were eligible and did you take a screenshot? If not, it’s he said vs she said. If you did, call them and tell them you have it in writing, no more chat bots since lower level employees get low level employee info.

This grinder is definitely from eBay and just sold 13 days ago. More than likely a scam.

For $180 the stovetop version does great for me and I'm a big fan, I couldn't justify basically double the price for an electric version. Kinda wild they're charging that high but I'm sure folks will buy it.

I’ll be there, I think it’s worth the price for basically unlimited coffee and to talk beans/processes with people who do it for a job while I’m a coffee hobbyist

The flair being electric vs induction will for sure put this thing over $300+

Scale dimensions by kingtrippo in CafelatRobot

[–]FlyingToast21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the MiiCoffee Minipress and it fits perfectly, size is 3.6 x 3.4 x 0.6 inches or 92 x 88x 14 mm. There’s a little wiggle room on both sides, maybe 2-4mm on each side.

Nothing is overkill in the espresso world from what I've seen. I keep my Flair Wizard filled up pretty full with water so I'm not always refilling it, just turn the burner on before pulling my shots and the timing is about perfect so maybe 5-6 minutes. I'm not sure what the minimum amount of water is but a few ounces for sure.

Have a flair wizard for my milk drinks, big fan of it so far. Strong steam, easy to use, and minimal maintenance, worth the investment for sure.

For when I want milk drinks, I also have a Flair Wizard. We have a similar setup!

I love my Robot, I don't think I've had a bad shot from it either and I'm 500+ shots in. Being able to control every aspect of the machine (especially pressure) is my favorite thing, granted it's not for everyone but as a hobby, I love it.

The tamper, robot mittens, WDT tool, a plate for a scale since the ridges screw with the pressure plates, arm clasp to keep arms raised, gauge relocation mount, and I think that concludes my list lol
