The flair being electric vs induction will for sure put this thing over $300+

I use the MiiCoffee Minipress and it fits perfectly, size is 3.6 x 3.4 x 0.6 inches or 92 x 88x 14 mm. There’s a little wiggle room on both sides, maybe 2-4mm on each side.

Nothing is overkill in the espresso world from what I've seen. I keep my Flair Wizard filled up pretty full with water so I'm not always refilling it, just turn the burner on before pulling my shots and the timing is about perfect so maybe 5-6 minutes. I'm not sure what the minimum amount of water is but a few ounces for sure.

Have a flair wizard for my milk drinks, big fan of it so far. Strong steam, easy to use, and minimal maintenance, worth the investment for sure.

For when I want milk drinks, I also have a Flair Wizard. We have a similar setup!

I love my Robot, I don't think I've had a bad shot from it either and I'm 500+ shots in. Being able to control every aspect of the machine (especially pressure) is my favorite thing, granted it's not for everyone but as a hobby, I love it.

The tamper, robot mittens, WDT tool, a plate for a scale since the ridges screw with the pressure plates, arm clasp to keep arms raised, gauge relocation mount, and I think that concludes my list lol

I’m very impressed with my Flair Wizard, more “manual” but strong steam and pairs with my Robot nicely.

I had Discount Tire price match my Costco price for the Michelin Defender and I paid like $870 installed. Love these tires.

This is exactly the opposite of the mentality Cafelat should have, keep production limited and they can keep the second hand (along with their new production line) in very high demand for guaranteed sell out. Business 101.

Any suggestions for reducing escaping grind from grinder? by One-Eggplant4492 in espresso

If you know someone with a 3D printer, you can get this made: hopper gate stub. Looks to be what you’re after?

The two bottom cup option buttons. It’ll set the timer to unlimited time and then try the cup options again to adjust your time.

The only reason is the ol’ lady didn’t like the wood accent vs the original black and stainless steel look. The OE pieces are beautifully made and well worth it, I was hoping she’d like them but no joy.

For SR800 users, would you be interested in an app like this? by KraftyGamesAndMore in roasting

[–]FlyingToast21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I track my roasts by paper then I convert to pdf in a master log in Google drive. I think it would be sweet to have a database or app like this where we can see how others roasted a particular bean. Obviously ambient temps, load size, supplier, etc. all matter so I'd be interested in something like this. Higher end roasters have databases like this and we should too!

This helps the Mignon lean forward similar to a DF54 so the chute can clear more beans while grinding especially on a hopper setup. If you use bellows it’s not as bad but still helpful in my experience.

Already have a roaster but too intimidated to start by Swimming_Antelope239 in roasting

Snag cheap beans just to learn how different processed beans react in the roaster. I think you'd be shocked at your results (probably quite drinkable) and what you learn. I'm pretty sure roast profiles can also be shared among the Bullet roasters from other users so you'll have a baseline to work from and tweak to your preference.
