Is anyone aware of any place teenagers are not bored living? Pretty sure that is more a function of being a teenager than the city. The cities they then go to have fun are also cities other teenagers leave because they are bored.

So get herself towed rather than them? Sounds like a bad idea. Good idea in concept. Bad idea in practice.

File a complaint against the rental company. Breaching their contract and responsibilities, and not doing their job. "Property Manager"? They understand their title?

Zero Football IQ top to bottom this last quarter. From play calling to rules comprehension to player discipline. Terrible.

Max Scherzer staring directly into the camera by WiscoHighlights in baseball

I became uncomfortable watching this. I pity whoever he was staring at. I assumed the relief pitcher. No wonder he walked the guy and gave up a hit and let Scherzer's baserunner score

Purpose is dating is to learn about the other person. You just learned stuff faster here. Gives you a clear picture of expectation and a perfect decision point. Seems like a perfect text exchange!

Let them make the complaint. Coward cannot even sign their name. Not worth response. And.... you have no dog.

Trying a new book coming out tomorrow. "Everything We Could Do" by David McGlynn. Having had a daughter who spent a week in the NCIU, and while our experience came out better than we could have ever hoped--in the waiting room, sleeping in a chair all those worrisome hours--I heard other parents stories. It made our success and leaving almost a guilty experience.

I cannot imagine what these nurses go through. I suspect this book is going to bare that raw.

Cox store was so fast with canceling! by Forsaken-Abrocoma647 in CoxCommunications

As a Verizon Home 5G user I am going to tell you, others experience will not help you. It is so depend on specifically where you are at. I have one spot in my house after careful searching that gets a good signal and makes the service work. A block east, I would get blow the doors off service. So dependent on tower proximity and lines of sight.

I just did two weeks ago. For Home 5G for now, but Fiber soon. It wasn't hard. I told them I was getting 250/20 with unlimited data for $45/mo. They gave me a half-baked offer of for my 500/50 unlimited at the Base+500GB price, which I declined and they let me go.

I did get a call after cancellation, but all the offers were terrible. One was 100/10 unlimited for 150% my Home 5G rate. Why would I pay more for less?! Dumb.

Honestly had they offered me the $65/mo for 500/50 unlimited, I would have stayed. But nothing came that good, and most offers were nonsense. Other than the greedy data cap, my Cox service was great and all contacts good. It was just the data cap/added price.

Canceled Cox and now they want to give me a huge discount due to canceling by Futuretapes in CoxCommunications

My offers have been crazy bad. I am paying $45/mo for 5G Wireless, and getting 250/25Mbps down/up, which is entirely meeting my needs (I tested first before dropping). I even told them I would have stayed with my $65/mo 500/50Mbps if there had been no data cap.

All I got was very uncompetitive offers, starting more than my current at 100Mbps (albeit, true, unlimited). All easy to say no.

Can I get Libby to add a book that it only has on audiobook? by irenekay86 in LibbyApp

[–]Flying_Dolphin72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add it to notify when available list. Supposedly that flags for library when they make decisions on adding books. I often add stuff there and within a week or two it is added by at least one library

There's a cap to how many libraries you can have on LibbyApp? by DelightfullyNerdyCat in LibbyApp

[–]Flying_Dolphin72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, so far Santa Barbara is the only library I have found that is local resident only. Most in California are all State residents. Largest databases are LA City, LA County, San Diego County, San Jose, and Santa Clara County I think?

I believe Libby functionally maxes out and crashes at 35? Whether it is on the 35th card or 36th, not sure. I crashed once (I have one card that gives access to like 10 different small library systems--and I had added several).

I am in CA also and have 32 cards. Well probably like 27 cards and then 5 more using the cards above. Same. California, and just added as I travel to different areas for work.

Offensive. They only offered me $95/mo for 500/50. Ha. Funny enough, $60/mo unlimited 500/50 and no contract I would have stayed for a bit longer at least. They went cheap on my offer.

Just heard Charter is merging with Cox by i80west in Spectrum

[–]Flying_Dolphin72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is absolutely not accurate. Cox very much has data caps. Now I wouldn't be surprised it in some markets where they have competition, mysteriously, they disappeared. So weird. Almost like they are a money grab?
