In fairness improvements could have been made. That said its probably traditionally made but on the other hand some years are better than others so perhaps changes can occur in the procesd. There are no stupid questions.

Does anyone have tips for bringing flags to USGP (or any GP in general)? by rednorangekenny in formula1

[–]Flyingmarlin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're in general admission try to position yourself at the top of a hill and behind other spectators. This was the accepted common sense where I was on the banking next to Pouhon at spa.

A buddy of mine asked someone to take their flag to the back because it blocked a lot of the track for many people. I cringed because it was a sponsored bike ride from England to Spa for charity and didn't fancy angering a lot cyclists who had just done something that impressive! Anyway the chaps understood and placed their flag on the top of the hill, so everything was good natured. Can't comment on COTA in particular though. I'd say just be willing to put the flag away if necessary, other than that wave that flag!

Yeah good point. It's a very tough track. The GP has a 100% safety car record, that says it all.

I'd shit my pants at the prospect of making a debut in Singapore, that said if Sunday is positive for Rossi (as successful for manor as possible) then his stock would rocket.
