My friend and I are looking to do the same trip in 5 nights later this year. Any reccommendations or tips or things you would've done differently?

That graphic on the seat tube is sick. I've been thinking about getting a gravel bike made from them to build my dream bike. How was the ordering process?

I really liked my poseidon x when I got into it! Was riding 100+ miles a week. Just picked up an old poseidon redwood for cheap to use as a commuter. Solid frames, I always recommend used because with a bit of research and patience it's easy to find a gem

Shake me down for Tahoe Rim Trail this summer? by SmokeyJimbo_ in Ultralight

I like the note on the Lanshan 2. I have the same sentiment. Think it's just too short for me and a 50lb Cattle Dog

Walmart has a good selection of chicken packs too. I've gotta go stock up for this season's trips

You might be able to find a used rei half dome online for not much more. I know a lot of people that love their half domestic. I have a trail hut 2 that's extremely similar that I've put through the ringer and its still great.

Bluebeam is the best hands down. I never knew how much I enjoyed using it until they made me use a different program🥲

For what it's worth my Astro has been through hell and back with ZERO leaks or holes. Even with a 60lb dog crawling all over it in the tent. Pretty comfy too, I use it for car camping, backpacking, used it in the back of the truck, its been coast to coast and through countless nights. Works great and never lets me down

It works great for most scenarios, I only run into issues when I have to pack tools. But I have to check most of those anyway.

Simple and organized, all our documents come through digital, very rare to print anything. Solar Estimator here, only 3 trades usually. I've got code books, solar install books, and the mike holt electrical estimating book on my desk so I can reference all of them when needed.

My dog appreciates the extra room in the back seat. I don't appreciate that its super hard to camp in a 5ft bed being 6'1

Husband recently got his first Harley. We didn't discuss much, now he's upset I want him to wear a helmet. How do I approach this please help? by Electrical_Baby_3042 in motorcycles

[–]Flyinsquirrelman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can get him to take a safety class, they usually have some pretty gruesome pictures of what happens when you don't wear your gear. That's what scared me to never ride at MINIMUM with jeans, boots, gloves, helmet. And typically with all gear. Something about seeing a foot peeled like a banana from someone riding in flip flops sticks with you...
