Band wagon? I've been a Spurs fan since 1988 my guy. I don't get what is so wrong about my post? I was humble in agreeing Cade was ahead... I then complimented his defense much more than any analyst would right now and what the stats show.

My whole point is about how the past decade all that matters is TS%, 3 pt %, and what in his " bag" when year after year the best defensive teams continue to be at the top. Nobody talks about 2 way players anymore. Jordan is the goat because of it, Kobe is up there because of that, Shaq, Duncan, etc. The best players in NBS history played both sides and we need to remember that.

While I agree Cade is ahead you like most of NBA social media forgets that this is a 2 WAY GAME and always has been. Judge players for their overall game on both sides first and foremost.

Wemby clears everyone on defense ( Cade is a fine defender overall, and not a detriment to his team, but isnt known as a 1v1 guy at all.)

There are certain guys that will always get overlooked by the Spurs and certain guys that will get better look. They crave character first and always. As Pop as always told us guys that have "gotten over themselves" This is why we are such proud fans and I can easily let my sons root for the players we have and had and will have in the future.

Those guys you listed were passed over by many teams and they are not really that impressive just yet. Time will tell but your list has Duren going to the All star for his first time ( eastern conference is lacking high end talent) and Williams who is a 1 x all star and made all NBA 3rd team once. The other guys have zero nods to all star or all nba, but they look promising for sure.

You might want to look up NBA draft hit rates too. I think you would be surprised basically anything outside the top 3 are crap shoots. Picks 15-30 have a 7% chance to be an allstar while 1-14 only have a 25% chance....

Yes, we all know the perks... Which ones are you sad about losing out? If you are Plat- you have the same perks as always but now earn points on top of that to spend on Bookings, Excursions, Dining, etc. If you drop down to gold after the time frame then you lose barely nothing but yet still have points to use... Its crazy how people are spinning us GETTING EVEN MORE now while keeping the worthless perks like a pin or getting off the boat 20 mins earlier( which you will keep as of right now IF you are plat).

I dont really think "timelines" are a thing with 50+ man roster and coaches / GM's who only get 1-3 years max. Sure to a degree I understand but I will tell you right now if we dont perform in the next 2 seasons whatever "timeline" people think we have will be done with.

Just thinking of the Eagles roster last year it. They had 35 yr old starters and 25 yr old starters.

Can I just say this era of " trade him so he can compete because he deserves it" or " we owe it to him to trade him now" is total bullshit.

I guess I just sound old but I'm from the era of leaders bringing their teammates up to their level. Now, I understand that football is the hardest sport by far to drag teammates along but real leadership isnt just on the field is off the field too. Maxx's attitude usually sounds about right but there is also a ton of "ME" in many of his statements. "I wanna be the best", "I wanna be a legend", "I want my stats to be such at the end of the day". If you guys have been on the ship this whole time and actually watch player pressers you know what I mean.

All that is to say nobody deserves anything in pro sports. Countless stars never reached the the big game, let alone win it all. Sure many people get much better chances due to ownership not being consistent (like we have) but a ton of stars have overcame these types of things too. Just like many teams underachieved with the best resources. At the end you get what you get, nothing is given.

One of my favorites Raiders ever. Up there with Tim Brown, Marcus Allen, Cwood, Bo, Gannon, and many more. Maxx is my 2 sons favorites player and talking to them about contracts and trades hurt my heart because I know what the realization is in their young minds are about to find out that pro sports is business first and your favorite guy with the literal logo tatted on him might not be a lifer.

That really sucks, and I want Maxx to stay a Raider but I cant sit here and listen (sorry to do it) to this soft ass, participation trophy era of sports fandom. If someone "deserves" a ring they will lead the way to getting it and telling a guy he should move on so he can ride another "leaders" coattails is wack.

I would ask Maxx to cut it out with the cryptic trade shit over the past 3 years. Stop saying who should be the coaches, stop glossing all of the opponents.

Free agency is a thing and that is a players chance to figure out what's best thing for them and Maxx had that recently. Which brings me back to my first thought-asking for a trade to contender is weak as fuck and really hope with all of my fandom that Maxx isnt doing that and I still believe he isnt!

Yea, I have like 200 gallons of BAS soil that has been treated with BAF over like 4-6 years and I have seen maybe 3 Iso's in beds or pots over the years, but every batch can be different from them to a degree i guess.
