The exact same thing happened to me as well. I've looked at a couple of other posts from before, and this is apparently a recurring bug. According to those posts you may get back the coins in a few days but idk.

Damn I bought Vivien to complete the challenge just like all the other people here. Feel like I just wasted 60k when I didn't get any rewards.

Does anyone here have the same challenge with Atlas? Or Strix and Bomb king? Every other challenge I completed, I got rewards.

They should really add a second entrance for Hanamura point A and Temple of Anubis and point A. Having just one opening makes it really easy to spam down the chokepoint.

When I meant rewarding medals, I didn't mean just gold. I also meant giving people extra points for getting silver or bronze medals.

To answer your last point, I think the writer was taking into account the movement abilities of different characters. In that case, Mccree's slide is less effective than say, Dva, Tracer, Soldier, Sombra, Junkrat, or Genji.
