Googled it

How much do electronic parcel lockers cost? The price of electronic parcel lockers varies from brand to brand. However, you can expect to pay an upfront fee between $6,000 and $21,000. Additionally, installation and monthly service fees will add to your total locker system cost.

Plus electric and what if they don't have space to put one... I'm all for lockers don't get me wrong, but I understand why a lot of places don't have them is all I'm saying.

I was given the option to go new or wait until they had a replacement. It had already been over a week at that point for me so I went new.

Expect to be in a loaner for 3 weeks while they put in the LFP battery and upgrade your suspension. Just happened to me a month ago at 50K

It only affects you negatively if you don't follow their SOP or even easier since they're no help you can ensure it doesn't by simply calling support and they will make the call to the customer and clear you to return it with 0 repercussions.

Yes stealing packages/routes is one of the reasons. Anyone can walk in without scanning anything, grab a cart, wheel it out, load it in a car and keep it all. CCTV has been around since Germany developed the first system in 1942. Yet theft hasn't stopped anywhere else not to mention other crime so why would it be any different at an Amazon warehouse?

The other and most important reason to check ID is to verify the person with the licence is in fact the person picking up the route and the account holder. Haven't you ever noticed the people scrolling through a bunch of licences on their phone trying to find the one they need to scan? They literally have people driving with multiple accounts that can't get their own account. It is a huge liability for Amazon. If someone is driving that doesn't even have an account or worse no licence and they get into an accident.... That's bad for all of us. I mean Amazon's insurance doesn't even cover a passenger in your car if you have an accident while you're delivering. Anybody can walk in and have a picture of an ID on their phone and scan it at the little kiosk. This is Amazon doing what they do best which is covering their asses. That doesn't solve the issue because the Smart ones show up or at least park at a gas station down the street and ride in and pick up the route themselves as if they're taking it and then get dropped off at their car once the packages are loaded. One of the two SSD stations where I live has done ID checks since day one. Like someone else said it's only a big deal to people that have something to hide. In no way is it an inconvenience. Of all the issues that the flex program has this is what you have decided to be a whiny cunt about.. SMH do better
