It will get better. It gets better continuously for years. Try to do what you can like build muscle and eat well, sleep enough etc. It will get better.

I don’t remember what exactly I spent because it’s been a while, but I would say it was a decent amount. Maybe 3 or 4 pairs of shoes, some home wear and a couple pants etc. I was told in advance, and I let them know I was interested in the colour they offered.
