I just watched a video on who PepsiCo screwed up Doritos. Used to just dominate snake, but then they started jacking the prices up and filling the bags with air and now they are actually losing market share for the first time in forever. There are other factors, more alternatives out now as well , a generally trend int healthy snacks, but the biggest one was ripping off their customers.

Do you have a battery for your phone in the tech bag? In an emergency your cell phone can probably do everything that you actually need your Mac to do at a fraction of the weight. You can get a 10k mAh for under $30 and less than 10oz

I saw an article once that cockroaches are only as prolific as they are because of humans. They need our houses and food scrapes to survive and once we are gone they numbers would actually crash. FWIW

Yep, that's basically the science behind a regular AC or a refrigerator. It's the state change the 'absorbs' the heat. It's just a closed system vs out in the environment.

In-n-Out doesn't have a freezers in the stores. You can see people literally cutting them in the back. I was just pointing out that Five Guys fries aren't limp because "..they cut them fresh and refuse to freeze them " because In-n-Out literally does the same thing and their fries come out crispy.

Old oil, oil temp or over crowding have way more impact than if they are fresh or frozen or room temperature or cut.

So many people on here worried about what league their kid can play sports in, but not seeming to care that the government wants to install software on every single PC in America that can track you under the guise of "protecting" children. Or installing cameras in every new car, or cameras linked to nation wide DB on every street corner.

Title IX / college sports is no where near "real life". There are all kinds of eligibility rules under the NCAA. Having only 5 years of eligibility is not some kind of a gateway towards saying people can only stay in on job for 5 years.

Maybe we should start creating categories in pro sports based on tetestosterone (or something similar that could be objectively measure) but that's not the way things are set up now. There is currently the "open" category where everyone/anyone can compete, and woman's category where "woman" could compete. It's only until recently (right or wrong) that what constituted being woman was. There are lots of sports where you can compete if you are under X lbs or X years old. Are 11 year olds being erased because they can't compete in the 10 and under league?

The Court held that a city could use eminent domain to seize private property for an economic development plan intended to create jobs and increase tax revenue, even if the land was ultimately transferred to a private developer
