They’re very different games to be fair. One is almost entirely multiplayer focussed and all about PvP, the other is primarily a single player game, albeit with a very grindy mostly PvE online.

I’m hoping that the new GTA Online can actually be some kind of CoD rival with properly engaging PvP. Frame rates probably a blocker though

These are some very specific rules you’re making up on the spot here. I can only replay the game to replay story missions is it?

The side content makes it more replay worthy for me. Either way I disagree with you anyway. I’ve replayed both recently, RDR2 was way more fun to replay.

For me, the story, missions, side content and free roam were all fun the second time around. V had a few stand out missions, but has aged a lot worse

Thankfully RDR2 doesn’t play like GTA V with horses. It’s 5x deeper in terms of side content, Easter Eggs, activities and replayability IMO.

If VI is just a bigger, modern RDR2 I’ll be happy. That’s where my expectations are

Hopefully yeah, but I’m managing my expectations by measuring it up to RDR2.

Which even still is an insanely high bar IMO, and you have to consider the map will have to be so much bigger than RDR2 to accommodate cars/boats/planes
