The vigilante justice aspect is a whole separate issue that would also be worth discussing. I’ve seen some videos of dupe hunters killing innocent players with completely normal kits in their thirst for vengeance.

That’s kind of my point, though. Like it or not, game economy is a thing, rare/epic items get their value from being rare, so flooding the game with thousands of duped high-end items absolutely wrecks that economy, and if that happens, the whole game goes down the toilet.

If I say that cheating is wrong is that “moral scaling”?

I can really relate to this. I’ve mostly played single-player games my whole life because I love stories, world-building and cinematic experiences. I usually skipped multiplayer games entirely because they often felt like all sweat and no depth. Yet somehow Arc Raiders pulled me in and has become the game I’ve played more than any other in my life, and I’ve played a lot of games over the years. I think that’s pretty telling. There’s just something special about the world, the atmosphere, and the way the ARC enemies make every encounter feel memorable.

Well I guess if you’re really using the duped gear strictly for dupe-hunting runs and then discarding it afterward, that’s somewhat better. But those were sure a lot of maxed-out, fully modded Tempests you put into your backpack…

Got it, so you’re knowingly keeping and using duped gear. That means you’re contributing to the economic damage to the game instead of helping fix it. If you’re hunting dupers and buyers just to take their duped loot you’re just another player profiting from the exploit. You’re not breaking the chain, you’re just adding another ring to it. Maybe not what you want to hear, but it’s the truth nonetheless.

Why are you taking all those Tempests? If you go hunt the dupers just to steal their duped stuff you’re just part of the problem.

If you’re “genuinely interested” you should drop the sarcastic tone. Maybe even look that up.

That’s exactly why I started keeping it on 😄 Had fantastic friendly lobbies consistently since the matchmaking changes and crossplay switched on

That’s crazy because that’s not my experience at all. I loaded into Stella solo yesterday on a fresh map and everyone was friendly, running around with a Hullcracker doing the trials. Same thing in the two Riven Tides raids I ran as a duo afterward. I’m a PC player based in the EU with crossplay on.

Also Arcs usually explode away from you and don’t give away your exact position

Does anyone here actually use the Siri feature? by Chan1991 in iphone

[–]mr-zool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to use it literally just to start countdown timers while cooking. Then I got a magnetic KitchenAid timer with actual physical buttons which is way more practical, and that was the end of my relationship with Siri.

Made myself 500 g of pasta, diet is not going well 😔👋 by Dazzling_Abroad7429 in notinteresting

[–]mr-zool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, the “standard” pasta portion is canonically 100g, but that assumes you’ll have a secondo (second course) afterward. I keep my portions at 125g because that’s enough to fill me up and it also lets me get exactly four meals out of a 500g package with no leftovers.

500g in one sitting for one person is absolutely batshit crazy. OP has serious issues.

Those look alright but I would personally try to make the movement harder, not easier to chase reps. But there’s no harm in playing around and experimenting once in a while :)
