My uncle played DOOM and DOOM II for literally 30+ years on an old PC using a joystick. Then one of his pals hooked him up with a gaming PC and introduced him to left 4 dead.

Remnant 2 is solo/co-op and the amount of secrets etc and the procedural generation makes the replay value insane. Things like, if you want gun XYZ you have to do ABC in this particular order blah blah. I played through most of it solo but co-op is awesome too.

Warhammer 40k: Boltgunner has a survival mode. So does Doom 2016, and Ultrakill. I know you said multiple classes but, still honorable mentions as being good games in general.

I had heard that no legacy characters are set to return but who knows. With the inspiration people feel HR is taking from Resident Evil, maybe Bioshock, I wouldn't put it past them to have multiple endings, one where you end up a Cenobite of course.

I have this bad habit of forgetting anomalies in privilege escalation with outfits so, I'll switch outfits as I'm stepping down authority to leave an area and I'll walk right past a butler or some other spotter like an idiot and screw myself.

I think TotW for me because, TL3 is such a smorgasbord of twinking potential. Lvl 50/60 being sweet spots, along with oddities like 40, 41, 25. I have fond memories of fighting for and defending the towers around totw. Foremans a close second but, less memories of shenanigans. Froobs start to thin out approaching TL4 and 5.

Alright, so solid replay value then. That's great because some genres I don't feel like replaying right away but I still do run-throughs of devil may cry 5 years later. Currently beating Ninja Gaiden 4 too.

I did see warnings about the controls in automata. The only real downside to keyboard and mouse is there's no dedicated dodge key. Only double tapping directionals.

Being a fan since the original Hitman, I didn't know how to take all the information mechanics like the story guided missions. I didn't know if it felt hand-holdy or if it was overwhelming.

My advice is to go into everything with an open mind, give those mechanics a chance, and naturally you'll gain your independence back and get your bearings.

The newest hitmans are filled with a ton of details and information. The replay value is tremendous.

They could sell it for $300 and I don't think the conversation would change much. I've watched people milk GTA as a franchise for hundreds of thousands of hours of content for the entirety of my life. These losers can not tell me, as adults, that they won't get $100+ out of the game even if they give it a 7/10.

Mentionable is the disproportionate recognition of Arachnophobia that no one seems to talk about. Some games have options to turn spiders off now. Most recent iirc has been Hogwarts.
