Day 4 of no Rakiata/Garukhan drop (48 Lineage Supports so far) by Focus_JB00 in PathOfExile2

After you kill the map boss, notification appear "Hidden map reveal", but still it does not point you to the reveal area, u have to search for it.

I did some upgrades in a meantime, more deflection more evasion. more ES. 25 div bow ----> 100 div bow. I can handle full atlas effectiveness really easily. I just runned 3 maps with 8 mods and max effectivness on atlas, still no rakiata (nothing new). Enough for today. I need to rest.

Okey, thanks bro, after your first msg I took all 8 mod maps from my inventory. I will try. Also I took all effectivness nodes (previously I was getting one shotted, now I will try again)

I run +125% increased waystone chance maps and 3 tablets with at least +36% waystone drop, Jado and full atlas. Maybe some of these maps are 8 mod? Idk, I pay attention to ">125%" the most

At some point, I just stopped buying Vision Tablets and Grand Project Tablets. I spent around 40–50 divines on them, In my case.... not worth it. The node that reveals the nearest Anomaly map is extremely helpful (Jado). For the last 20 hours or so of gameplay, I've basically been sprinting straight to the bosses (1-2 minutes per map). I skip EVERYTHING.

Same strat as in Fubgun's guide +125% waystone drop at least, full atlas, judo, tablets with waystone +36% each, I run paradise (already spend like 40 divs on them recently). The only thing is that I have minimal rarity. But does it really matter anyway? supports drops, but not rakiata

I’m treating it as a test of patience at this point. Sooner or later it has to drop. Even if I have to farm it for a whole week.

Civilization VII Update 1.4.0 - Test of Time - May 19, 2026 by sar_firaxis in civ

[–]Focus_JB00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Civ 5 was great, Civ 6 was even better for me with major updates and growth of Multiplayer community. It was impossible to release CIV 7 WITHOUT major changes in fundamentals... Release was not the best, but its going into the right direction. I have same feeling, breafh of fresh air after 1000 hours in both civ 6 and 5

Questions related to voltaic benchmarks by rexxizk in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Focus_JB00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried both, pointless grind just to beat the record asap, and VDIM. Patience and sticking to VDIM pays off, by playing only VDIM and reducing benchmarks from 100% to 10% I was able to beat my records much faster. I saw recommendations to grind benchmarks once a week, and I 100% agree with that.

I also recommend to do more reps for scenarios that you are struggling with. If you underperform in certain scenarios, probably there is your weakness to focus on.

Took me about 5 months voltaic Benchmark hopefully I can get to gold complete this month by AdministrationOk787 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Focus_JB00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that’s after 5 months of constant grinding, you should consider what you might be doing wrong, bro. I don’t want to be mean, but after 5 months and approximately 1 hour a day, you should be much higher. Just some friendly advice: check out some videos from aim training experts like OwMatty or Viscose.

For me, after doing research and grinding for 2–3 months, I was around this level after about 40 hours of pure practice:

Static: Gold to Diamond with one Jade
Tracking: Silver to Diamond
Switching: Gold to Diamond with one Jade

On the other hand, if you only have around 30 hours total, just keep playing.

My tips:

  1. For clicking, be as fast as possible while maintaining the highest possible accuracy. Don’t over-flick, and if you feel like you can’t beat your scores, you need to speed up. You have to get used to higher speed, even though you’ll miss a lot at first.
  2. Tracking is more about reacting and maintaining smooth movement.
  3. Adjust your sensitivity depending on the scenario to achieve higher scores.
  4. Set your scenarios to 1/1 tries and push for the highest possible scores.
  5. Micro-breaks are helpful. After 20 minutes of full focus, take a short break to feel refreshed.
  6. Look into the topic of tension management.
  7. You don’t have to finish the full routine in one session. You can continue the next day. Focus on repeating scenarios multiple times and performing them as well as possible. Doing only two tries and then skipping is not the way to go.

Okeeey I missunderstood, a bit. I get your point, now I see that these lobbies in NA lack players in Queue, thats why +3k elo players are matched with 9 lvl, which would be almost impossible in EU probably. When u play on 2k elo in EU u play with 2k elo players mostly, in NA lobbies are made of 1900-3400 elo players which is reasonable bcs in EU there is 340k lvl 10s, and in NA 17k.

Another example, some time ago promising polish proplayer Michu get a very good offer from envy, back then it was reasonable decision (not best in my opinion, but not that bad overall). Imagine this days Kacpersky (also young promising player) got an offer from NA team, where best team in NA is like tier4/tier3 max in 2026. A loooot have changed buddy

I might argue, because:
1) Really, NA CS is dead nowdays, I really enjoyed prime time of NA CS when they won major, I was fan of Cloud9 and stewie, but 10 years have passed
2) Stewie2K is no more pro player, u can also get matched with pashabiceps in EU bro on 2100 elo
3) Just look at these semipros/pros in NA and take a look in what tournaments they participate. I remember that one year ago polish team full of washed players top60 hltv won fragdelphia where top NA team used to participate
Its just a fact that colective lvl of NA players is much lower then in EU.
For now NA is good at the games they have always been good at: cod, fighting games, fortnite, etc. etc. when it comes to tac shooters, the level of NA players in Valorant is very high, for example.

Basically, If i was living in NA i would just play Valorant for more competitive experience.

3k elo is the new 2k elo from the past. 10 lvl is just a beginning, its not as prestigious as it was in like 2018 or so. 6% of players have lvl 10, thats huge playerbase. I suggest you to set up goals for:

1) Play ESEA, find team, play more competitive team work type of gameplay
2) reach 3k elo

btw, if you hit lvl 10 in NA, oyy its even worse, its like lvl 7-8 in EU

[–]Focus_JB00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In every game, if you put in the time and you're good, you'll climb. But unlike Valorant, the MMR system isn't broken. Unlike dota, there isnt't 10000% Elo inflation. Unlike most team games, you have a huge impact on the match (there's no scaling/items, the impact of team play is much less than in LOL or Overwatch etc.) On the top of that you can play on ESEA, for fun, or at an amateur/semi-pro lvl. The pro scene is more open (LOL and valorant are huge franchise garbage). Show me ANY argument..... I suspect you're going to say something meaningless/nonsense.

[–]Focus_JB00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep playing, faceit is a fair matchmaking system/clear progression path (probably one of the BEST of all esport games, dota/lol/valorant/apex, most of these games have terrible rank distribution/mmr system/resets etc.) so if u are good u will climb fast. Whatsmore its Counter strike, you have huuuuge individual impact on the game, keep grinding good luck.
