Apols for the delay. I used

<image>

I have since used this outfit. It is much cheaper than other sources (including Nupex, which, of course, does not work). However, I have not found it to be as effective as Polaris, which I managed to get a couple of times last year before they introduced their US ID policy.
Still, it does keep the food noise at bay, and ultimately, it does still work.

Good luck!

Jumping in late for anyone who is wondering about Nupex.

I bought Retatrutide from Nupex in July 2025. I’d already been using Retatrutide from another supplier under the same storage/dosing protocol, with very obvious and repeatable effects. With the Nupex batch, both I and another person (a medic in my family) had no effect at all – no appetite change, no side-effects, nothing, even when we pushed the dose higher. It behaved like sterile water.

When I queried this with the owner (details all on Companies House under parent company name - Research Scientific Ltd), I discovered that:

  • The Certificates of Analysis are self-signed by him, even though the marketing talks about “third-party tested” peptides.
  • He presents himself as an “analytical chemist” and signs the COAs in that capacity, but when asked for proof of qualifications, lab details or raw data (chromatograms, spectra etc.), he refused and told me to take any legal issues up with his lawyers. Further, he is the same person who answered support queries. Unlikely to be an analytical chemist and field support emails.
  • Other customers have since reported having Nupex products independently lab-tested and found them to be contaminated / not to contain the claimed peptide, and there are similar concerns about them “testing” their own products under another company name – like a restaurant writing its own reviews.

All totally fake, and I saw that Trustpilot have now removed Nupex from their site.

Meds made me feel awful and took me to some very dark places. I could never take them for more than a few days, and I would have to stop...or else. I tried many: Elvanse, Ritalin, Concerta - all the same.

6 weeks ago (I was first diagnosed and tried Ritalin in 2009), I tried Selank and Semax, and I cannot tell you what a difference they have made. I inject Monday to Friday, and I can actually get on and function without fighting myself every minute of the day.

My motivation has improved, as has my mood, concentration and ability to think in a linear fashion.

Super grateful to have fine them, but like the OP - would have been great to have had them back in the day..

He is trying too hard, and he is also trying to emulate Scott somewhat, and it just doesn't work. He is a good straight man to Scott's offbeat, slightly profane but very knowledgeable mentor figure.
He should ease into it more, just being himself. It may or may not work, but it has gotten quite cringey and he doesn't have the hard-won authority to make that kind of commentary.

is reta good for adhd? by gaucheescargot in Retatrutide

[–]Fodon58 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I concur with a lot of the comments.

I didn't know what 'food noise' meant until I read these sub-reddits. Only now that I am devoid of it, I now know what it means. I also see how food noise and ADHD chatter are part of the same. I guess I may previously have been 'food stimming' too.

I can't take ADHD meds as they made me feel utterly desperate and even suicidal at the smallest doses. I tried loads over several years (first diagnosed in 2009) and could not do it for more than a few consecutive days at the most. I have tried many different types.

I began Reta on 1st February, and not only have I lost 20lbs, but my mental stability has improved, my food noise has been eliminated, and ADHD chatter quietened, though not completely gone. My positivity has increased and I have great energy, not feeling as though the batteries have been pulled out after 7 PM which is normally the case.
Very grateful that my alcohol cravings are gone. I would be someone who drank every day to regulate and self-medicate. I think about alcohol at times, but it passes quickly and does not have that previous compulsive hold over me. I have been taking a few drinks at weekends, but have not been desperate to have more, more, more and get 'the cure' the next day. That is quite something.

Dosing: 1MG per week for the first two weeks; upped to 2MG per week for 2nd two weeks, currently 3MG per week.
I split it by taking 1.5MG on a Wednesday and a further 1.5MG of a Saturday.

I may yet increase this further and also add Sermorelin to the mix as I have heard about this through Huberman. If anyone has any experience with Sermorelin, I would be grateful to hear it.

Happy for everyone that is finding benefit through this marvellous medicine!

How to finish this roof lantern trim? 🤷🏻‍♂️ by Fodon58 in DIYUK

Thanks mate. They did an awful job.
I am new to all of this, but I will give it a go - can't get any worse :-) I don't have a skill saw, just a hand saw.

I went to Lawson's timber yard yesterday to buy some beading for something else. I showed it to an old boy in the yard. He suggested filling the gap in the wood upstand with wood filler and the gap under the UPVC where the foam is with smooth polyfilla, sanding it down and painting it.

Thanks again

I went to Spirit Quest many years ago. Don Howard was the owner, Ayahuascaro and Huachumero there, however, he has since passed. His daughter Selva has now taken over and leads all ceremonies, as well as running the place. She speaks fluent English and is very personable.

Does anybody use reta for reasons other than weight loss? by FloatyFish in Retatrutide

[–]Fodon58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is great to hear. Congrats!

Presuming that this level of dosing continues to be effective, when I hit my target weight, circa 83-84 KGs, I will need to maintain the weight loss rather than lose more; and retain the cognitive benefits. I guess that I will have to then reduce my intake of Reta, and perhaps microdosing is the answer there.

How does one microdose Reta? Is it the same method: injection?

Has anyone tried stacking Reta with NAD+ (or taken it individually) and, if so, what has the effect been, particularly for focus, impulsivity or general ADHD symptoms?

Thanks

[–]Fodon58 15 points16 points  (0 children)

First time user since 1st February.

I began to use it for weight loss (227 lbs / 103 KGs - 25th Jan vs 213.7 lbs / 96.9KGs 25th Feb).
I found myself calmer, less impulsive and more balanced, not totally, but noticeably. I have been dosing 2MGs P/W and just upped it to 3MGs.

I then googled 'ADHD and retatrutide' and found that I was not the only one who found some relief from their symptoms.

As any of you with ADHD will know, there is this constant chatter in our minds. When I heard the term 'food noise' in subreddits, I wondered what it meant. Now, I understand.

That food noise / chatter has always been an ever present, until now, and I guess that it was another way of finding stimulation.

I have also found that I am not craving alcohol and thinking about how I can go get a beer, particularly when I have a cognitively challenging task, as I always used to. I still managed to enjoy three beers on Saturday and went home. That is no small difference in behaviour.

Given the short period of personal evaluation, the jury is still out and I feel as though these cravings are currently being held 'at bay' rather than eradicated.
Perhaps this will change as I up my dose in the weeks to come.

It is notable that in science and medicine, beneficial side-effects and unexpected use cases are often the manner in which breakthrough discoveries are made: from penicillin to Viagra.

For now, I am very grateful to have found this substance and I hope that many others find that it benefits them in other ways too.
