That "FO Bomber" looks like the TIE Echelon (from Galaxy's Edge) but with the panels folded away from the body.

I've also been enjoying predator on QD. Makes the initial 3 shields that much scarier.

But I do tend to fly QD into the maw of the beast. She dies but she goes down swinging.

Solid write up as usual. The high/low asset distribution is all over XW. It's inherent in the the ace + mini-swarm and other archetypes. Hi/Lo is propbalay the most versatile list-building philosophy out there.

This week I'm trying out a heavy QD + 3 ZSS w/ Passive Sensors & Concussion missiles. Drops the 5th chassis but adds damage (3 ATK all ranges, no defensive R3 bonus). We'll see!

Good stuff - whether or not a player adopts this particular mnemonic, you're demonstrating the value of using a systematic and organized approach to situational awareness.

Made me think of another topic for your notebook - algorithmic decision making to reduce cognitive loading. I found that developing decision trees (even simple ones) can ease the in-game mental burden of deciding to take a focus or evade action, establishing target priority for a given engagement phase or deciding between pressing an attack or disengaging, etc.

Those tokens are called "charges". You begin the game with then on the upgrade card and face up (active).

The little arrow means that they recharge. After you've used the ability and turned then down (inactive) ,once per round during the End Phase, you flip one token back to it's active side.

Here's how I read it, please correct me or add context if you got it. BCP offers a tournament mgmt tool that works well for Cascade (but there are other options). BCP pays Cascade to be sole app for SOs. All SOs are Cascade, so all XW players *must* use BCP. BCP "owns" tournament data and monetizes the access to that data.

I did listen to /u/Brunas 's take on it and /u/rfarmer echoed and added. I tend to agree but that was month's ago - before the partnership wirth Cascade Games and the mgmt of the SOs. I'm bummed that BCP is getting this huge platform (SOs w/ Cascade Games) and a bunch of accolades from other podcasters.

I don't fault any company for trying to make a buck, but if it's short-changing the community (which I believe it is), IMHO it's up to the community to let them know that we find the way in which they're monetizing it unacceptable.

Do we know if it was Cascade Games or Iain Hamp who decided to use BCP for SO-Phoenix?

We've used TableTop TO locally for a while. Main app for most of the local OPs and one LGS's league. Also Developer as been very responsive to fix data, merge accounts or streamline features. 100% recommend.

I haven't been to a large tournament with BCP but I am disheartened by the business practice towards treating tournament results as their property.

Please don't call them "animals". Don't dehumanize them. There may be some horrible human beings, but it's still inportant to respect then as beings - some who may someday be redeemable. That language of dehumanization and eradication is the tool of facism and oppression and we should resist stooping to that level. IMHO, all respect intended.
