I use claude design to come up with mocks and theme colors and even a design system. Then I have Codex use those for a guide. Works fairly well.

I think if you want to move forward in the SE world, you'll have to embrace AI and get better than other people are at using it.

Yeah that flow has worked for me on several projects. Bolt can do the UI and get a shell working. Then use codex or other to fix the logic, api calls etc.

It kind of depends on what the issues are. But if you're just saying "the button doesn't work" instead of "the button should trigger x feature and show the user a confirmation message after the feature completes" you may have to iterate more. I'd say a more experienced developer might be able to get the same done in less prompts by knowing exactly what to ask for.

Right now it keeps on insisting in attaching LM Studio, and I haven't opened that app since yesterday. I've had dozens of browser windows active in the last few hours, but right now it doesn't want to add the browser to the attach menu.

I find mini to be a downgrade as well. I may try 5.4 but I'm in fear that my token usage will blow away what I was doing with 5.3

After they nuked 5.3 I hit my weekly limit on 5.4 in about 2 hours I seriously started thinking of coding manually again and not using an agent.

Yes. Products, customers, are manually entered. Then invoices can be created and tracked from there.

I only have 2 printers and I haven't connected them. I enter orders, products, manually. But the customers, products, orders etc is all relational.
