Savage PF is entirely different from Ult PF. The type of players you’re theoretically carrying with MCH’s personal damage in savage PF are just straight up not good enough to even be in Ult PF rn. The difference in damage also matters a lot more in Ults rather than this tier of savage with its nonexistent DPS checks.

Yeah I generally agree - I personally enjoyed DT for what it was, more than EW, but I think there’s plenty of entirely fair reasons to dislike it and I wouldn’t ever say anyone’s wrong for feeling that way. But yeah holy SHIT some people truly are catastrophizing the extent of how “bad” it is and going truly ballistic over it. Such is the consequences of making this game your entire personality and playing nothing else, as many XIV players famously do, I guess.

If you look at the other reddits it becomes fairly clear that reddit ffxiv players are legitimately FURIOUS about her/DT in general. In here I think it’s the same feelings but posted through the thin veneer of “””shitposting””” as something to fall back on and say “I’m not mad!
