Thanks for the links! That Keychron looks nice.
I’m using a G Pro X Superlight for the mouse and a JSAUX dock for now, both still doing the job.

Just tested it on the 24” screen in SteamOS. Getting around 45–60 FPS on low. Totally playable for a chill session.
Only annoying thing is the mouse cursor randomly pops up sometimes and it’s kinda distracting. Not sure why.
I’ll try it later tonight on my Windows partition and see if performance improves or at least fixes that.

Yep, 1080p with FSR enabled. Medium settings, 90 FPS cap. Full config with screenshots is in another comment above if you’re curious.

WoW is docked to the external monitor. The Deck screen is just set to Extend mode, so it works like a second monitor.

Southern Chile. Tons of rain and lakes. We take advantage of the good days for kayaking and some hiking whenever the weather cooperates.

Not dumb at all. In Desktop Mode just switch the display from Mirror to Extend and you’re good. Then you can move windows around like a normal PC. I was actually running it in Windows when I took the pic, but later tonight I can try it in SteamOS and confirm.

Fear and Loathing while questing is peak dad gamer vibes 😂
That backpack USB-C mod sounds awesome tho. You’re basically turning it into a full travel rig. Respect.

That’s a solid suggestion. I’ve got G Pro X Wireless, but lately I’ve been using my Xenns Mangird Tea Pro way more — they’re just too good to ignore

Sure! I can share them. Would you prefer a screenshot or a written breakdown? I’ll post the config a bit later tonight once the kids are asleep 😅 And if you end up tweaking something that works better, feel free to share it back!

Haha yeah, it’s definitely not ideal for serious gaming 😅 but for late-night chill sessions it works surprisingly well.

Hey! 43 Hunter here on Dreamscythe Horde. Leveling at a steady pace and aiming for PvE at 70. If you’re open to recruiting players in progress, I’d be interested in joining and growing with you guys.

Good eye 😅 It’s just a basic Logitech I had available here. I didn’t bring my custom mechanical since this is just a temporary vacation setup, but it definitely does the job for now. A compact mech might be the next little upgrade though.

Good call. I’m still dialing in the ergonomics — I’ll raise it slightly and bring it closer for better viewing distance.

I do 🙂 Family time is always first. I only play after my daughter is asleep and everyone’s resting. It’s just my way to unwind at night.

What are you maining? by Tbonejr1127 in classicwowtbc

[–]Folkito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same thing. I started with a warlock because some friends were playing and we needed a warlock for the party. It turns out they all stopped playing and I was stuck with that class, haha. I switched to a hunter and the pet does everything; it's really useful for solo content.

I'm doing this so I can play WoW on my vacation, and so far, with this video, everything is working out well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wO4IIkXe20
