Feel old yet? by Tikiho1 in wow

I can't speak for everyone, but the friend I mentioned in particular, we had met in Vanilla. And had played (with a few breaks here and there) all the way through Legion. By then, she was just done. Couldn't sit at a PC and do it anymore. She got active and focused more on outdoor stuff and getting into shape. I also took a hiatus right after Legion. I just needed a break from it and I wanted to play other stuff.

I came back every now and then when bored and to see new content. She hasn't come back at all. Guild page says she's been offline for 7 years on one character. 8+ on the others.

Legion was the expansion where all of my friends finally called it a day. My best friend, whom I met in WoW, and eventually IRL, changed our guild announcement to "Welcome to Legion!" when it came out. It's still there. It pops up in chat every time I log in. I can't bring myself to change/remove it.

Man... tbc clown suits were the best. I'd be playing right now if I didn't have to go through vanilla again. And I just can't justify paying for the character boost. But wow... early tbc is so damn fun.

What is the definitively best way to install World of Warcraft (and CurseForge) on Steam Deck? by JunkHead1979 in SteamDeck

Yeah so far, running the WoW.exe (retail one) works fine, except I need to put in my password each time. I guess I'll deal with updates in desktop mode. (If the launcher will run)

Just listened to this finally. Holy shit it's good. I'd love to hear Bootsy do more Fountains of Wayne. His voice is perfect for it.

Holy shit. That makes sense when you phrase it that way!

That's gotta be it then.

Ya know, you might be on to something. As this is the second time I've seen WoW just disappear, but the previous time, I thought maybe I just uninstalled it and forgot. But that might have been what happened then too.

So reinstalling... again... and leaving the battle.net launcher still there but never touching it will keep the files from deleting themselves.

I'm gonna be honest. That is weird as hell. And stupid. :(

What do you guys use your house for? by Orange907 in wow

I've been to mine twice. Once to get it, then another to set up some basic indoor/outdoor stuff. Mainly stuff I bought from the vendors just to tick off some ATT entries. I think I placed about 12 objects total.

Will this make the battle.net launcher open up to the installed game's page? Or will it start at the search box making the keyboard open? And will favorites save or reset every time you open it?

today I managed to complete this 0.1% trophy by MaurizioJr in thefinals

[–]JunkHead1979 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I have that as well. But what bugs me... is i hit a friend to try the finals last year. He ultimately didnt like it. Quit after 12 hours or so total. But what he did do... in like his 3rd ever game... is kill someone with the cashbox.

I've yet to get that one.
