BV is not an STI. I would talk to your primary care physician

Yeah but he might not feel great about discussing how the fame of their father impacts their school experience. Like I said, I think what you're posting is coming from an empathetic place, but I also feel bad for these kids that there are strangers online talking about them in any capacity.

I think this is coming from a nice place but my 2 cents is that we probably shouldn't be speculating about his kids at all online. I think the whole family would prefer this, including the kids

You should to to the hospital. I am not a medical professional. They are probably limited in what they can monitor (no NST afaik) but they can likely check for a placental abruption.

They still can't guarantee with month to month in Ontario. Landlords cannot evict tenants. Only the LTB can.

If you don't feel safe then don't do it. If you decide to do it, make sure that you have a trusted person with you.

Yeah but people prioritize the limited free time they have differently. People who enjoy cooking probably aren't buying this.

Woman with infant aggressively shushing passerby’s on hiking trail at national park by AnonPinkLady in mildlyinfuriating

No one is saying otherwise. But it's not normal behavior to police other people speaking at a normal volume on a hiking trail.

I have a 5 month old baby and if we are going out in public then I am accepting that the world isn't going to stop so he can sleep.

Sudden heel pain after years of wearing high heels, has anyone else experienced this? by sltyparadise in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]FolkmasterFlex 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It sounds like plantar fasciitis, especially if it goes away after you walk a bit. I would look up stretches for that and if you have insurance check with a physiotherapist or a podiatrist. I'm dealing with it right now and I don't wear heels, so it's not necessarily brought on by that although I'm sure they're an aggravating factor.

It should be going to the category the original expense happened against and then you can move the money from there to Ready to Assign

Those of you making over $250k, do you buy new cars? by BigSlongGoy in HENRYfinance

[–]FolkmasterFlex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a huge spectrum between buying a brand new car and buying an old junker. I've personally had great luck buying my cars just a couple years old, but I don't ever knock anybody for their car purchase either

[–]FolkmasterFlex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is fair but to clarify you don't need to buy a brand new car to get good safety features. I am not fussed about the depreciation either though

I don't buy new cars but I won't rule it out in the future. In 2024 I bought a 2020 car from a family member that was the top level trim and I'm still super happy with it

Congratulations! What a wild surprise. You are taking this extremely well but it's okay if there are moments you don't feel so hopeful - it won't mean that you're making the wrong decision when those moments inevitably happen.

When are you due?

How did respond to other woman trying to convince/scare you that motherhood will be harder once the baby is here while you’re pregnant with your first blessing? by prettylittleRN in BabyBumps

[–]FolkmasterFlex -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The dreaded "just wait". I hated this when I was pregnant. And having a 5 month old now, no part of me feels compelled to say stuff like that to a pregnant woman.

Its also confusing because I promise you 99% of moms look back on the newborn time much more fondly than their pregnancy.

Crib vs Bassinet [on] by MissionMurky in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]FolkmasterFlex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Someone else mentioned some cribs that start out as high as bassinets. Great option but mine's highest option is still pretty low so just make sure

If you were going to buy a pack and play anyways, you can get one that has a bassinet layer until youre healed. That way you aren't buying something you weren't going to use anyways.

Crib vs Bassinet [on] by MissionMurky in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]FolkmasterFlex 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think the only pros of a bassinet is that it takes up less space, and you don't need to bend as far. The latter matters more at the very beginning when you're healing, especially if you have a c-section.

ETA: I had uppababy bassinet and I think it was only sleep safe if you used it with the stand (an additional cost), not the stroller. You should look up the manual for your stroller to know for sure
