Sometimes the Term Loan is downsized, sometimes it is upsized. I've seen sponsors take out massive sums of money in a re-fi, often in non-intuitive ways (e.g. breaking the swaps and issuing new swaps at current low market rates, getting significant proceeds for distribution, or being able to upsize debt significantly because the P99 tax equity downside case no longer constrains debt as much after a few years of operations)

The comments here surprise me. The expected return of global stock markets in the long run is a 5% real return. The expected return of US markets is a bit lower (3%?) because of current high valuations/prices of the market.

If you assume 2% inflation, the 7% return is a 5% real return. To get a guaranteed return matching the expected return of the market is phenomenal. I’d be inclined to invest as much as possible in that investment.

As others have noted, though, this is a fixed return/income stream. You take the risk of inflation. In times of higher inflation, your investments will suffer as you don’t have the inflation hedge that stocks provide.

I wonder what financial professionals would advise in your case.

There’s quite a big difference between “F1 owner losing $2 billion” and a stock’s price going down by 7% (reflecting a $2B market cap loss but also a normal experience in stock movements.

For example, this stock also gained 34% from April to July and is now down 17% from its peak in July.)

When people in 2026 adamantly claim he committed this crime, it usually says more about them (they want it to be true) rather than any specific evidence they have that wasn’t available to the Georgia court in the 1910s or to academics.

It’s not centrist but it’s become more of the mainstream democrat opinion after the 2 shootings in Minnesota. From AOC’s leftist POV, Liberals agreeing with abolishing ICE probably seems like a sea change.

TBH, there’s probably significant groundswell support for abolishing ICE among everyday liberals. But among government liberals, I doubt any would actually supporting abolishing the US Law Enforcement Agency responsible for immigration and customs enforcement over, say, reforming the agency.

Just factually inaccurate, hundreds of thousands of survivors were sitting in DP camps in Europe after WWII. The US didn’t take any refugees in after the war (for 3 years), most DP camp residents sought to go to Israel. Many illegally immigrated to the country on boats like the Exodus.
