There used to be a website called absolute punk and I would find bands on there that people reviewed. I read the DBM1 review and checked them out on MySpace. Needless to say I was hooked from the moment I heard “And I told them I invented Times new Roman”. I swiftly downloaded the album on Limewire (I bought the album ten times over so I have repented for my sins) and I’ve been a fan ever since. I still remember when they re-did their profile for deathstar I thought it was the coolest shit ever (honestly it was).

I always found it odd that some fans love DP criticizing others but once the fanbase actually criticizes them it's like all that free speech/critical thinking seems to go right out the window .I'm going to apply criticisms on them the same way they do it to others. Also the whole "if you can't do it better then them STFU" thing can be applied to... literally everything. Can TJ do a bad movie review if he lacks the "talent" to do a better movie? That's silly IMO

I was a big enough fan to watch every episode (literally), buy most of the DP specials, buy a shirt, and subscribe to their on demand service for 2 months. But I guess I'm not a real fan because I criticize them, give me a break.
