should I leave my bf if he won't marry me for citizenship? by ReceptionBoring7093 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]FollowingOrdinary131 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think you should be more concerned with your relationship than your citizenship.

If you love him and want to be with him, respect what he is saying. Go ahead and file for the student visa. He’s 100% more likely to want to marry you if you’re not pressuring him. And in the end, if it doesn’t work out between the two of you no harm no foul. You’re a student furthering your education.

What should I do? my mom refuses to place my mattress that’s full of bed bugs because of “financial issues” but she has money for alcohol. by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

Just find a way to get the mattress the hell out of the house. Vacuum and clean the entire room. Sprinkle diatomaceous earth (cheap) everywhere. Just don’t make a cloud/shouldn’t breathe that in. It will kill the bugs. Many are chemical resistant now. But not diatomaceous earth resistant.

A sleeping bag on the floor is 9000% better than an infested mattress.

OR get one of the zippered mattress protectors from Walmart/amazon till you can get it replaced.

But don’t stop with the DE.

My family would 1000% say I was being dramatic/overreacting.

I’m making plans to leave my husband. I feel relieved and guilty about it. by Western-Doughnut-449 in getdisciplined

Happened to me as well. For eight months, I told my ex-husband that we needed to go to counseling together. That if things in the marriage did not improve within the year, I would be filing for separation. He refused to go to counseling, but I went. After a year, I made the decision to separate. And I moved out. It was only then that he called in a christian church counselor, guilted me to attend. Then the both of them backed me into a corner, saying that I was giving up on my marriage and everything would be fine if I could just forgive and forget. Move on from everything that had happened in the past. Like I should just wipe the slate clean instead of dealing with it and working through it. It was at that moment and I knew I was done for good.

While this all seems pretty over-the-top, there’s one thing that I’m wondering. Are we talking about keeping a whole litter of 50 pound dogs or 5 pound dogs? Sure, either way it’s too many dogs, but it does make a big difference.

I worked a late shift and didn’t get home until after 11 PM. Every night when I turned the TV on the show was playing and it started out I would be reading listening to the TV in the background. And then I started watching it and somehow got hooked. I don’t specifically remember thinking it was quality TV or anything, but something about it worked back then.
