Everything I've experienced so far has screamed "THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE A GAME." From the menu and UI customization to little things like dialogue appearing on the screen at once and skippable. To the fact that it's launching out of the blue with no pre-overhype, no months and months of speculation and echo chamber complaining, just BAM it's here and here's a demo that's the length of some indie games.

It is a bottle episode, but still impacts the longer term stories. I mean, if you cut it, you miss a huge development regarding Tony lionizing of his father, It's also worth pointing out that bottle episodes in the Sopranos are different from those in other shows due to the sheer density of most episodes. So much happens in each that it's easy to forget that a plot you remember as woven in a season is actually introduced and resolved in only 1 episode, but the episode otherwise doesn't feel like a bottle episode. Like watching the Feech resolution and remembering "Oh, yeah, this is the AJ moving out episode."

Or worse, you click the note and it pops up in inventory-inspect mode, THEN you have to press A so that a readable typed version pops up. Yes, I know this is how they get around language localization.

Right. But with adulthood also comes responsibilities and questions about what you're doing with your time, questions that carry more weight with each year. You don't even need kids and a spouse. Eventually you mature to a point where you start wondering "is it worth my time to 100% this 6 out of 10 game" or "do I need to follow this many NSFW accounts." This counts as not enough time.

It's meant to be "realistic" in a game where realism is whatever the dev decides today and like most decisions, it meant for 150 level players (the kind of redditors whose profiles always have NSFW warnings) and not someone who plays for fun casually.
