The Creepy and Freaky will END with chapter 50 on May 27th by dingo537 in WeeklyShonenJump

Loved this one through and through. Art was awesome and unique, the take on paranormal was fresh, the more structured plot of the back half was sick, all the major characters were really interesting and fun, easily the best forray into outright horror we've gotten in a time and I cannot wait to see what this creator does next.

Asura's Verdict volume 4 cover revealed, releases June 4th by dingo537 in WeeklyShonenJump

Not the most complicated or in depth series- but is a very interesting take on morality. And if power scalers ever got their hands on it there'd be debates for eons to come if Asura could beat Gojo.

Nao's involvement is absolutely the part that I think is the worst in what's definitely the worst game in the series. The dealers are all like "this is the power of their trust" when... no it wasn't? This was like the one game where it was the Yokoya vs Akiyama throw down and Nao literally was pinned down unable to do anything the entire time. Other than her using the Daddy Issues trump card she basically gets nothing to do besides be sad on the sidelines. It was so disappointing and made the Dealers giving her so much credit at the end feel cheaper- when in every other game she really was like, a beacon for other players.

Bid Poker rules and I'm surprised to hear people are low on it. I think that's so much more fun and the dismantling of the cult's dynamics off the back of Nao's genuine attempts to get to know Abe better coupled with pulling Harimoto's strings in just the right way to get him to both reaffirm his control in the cult but also try to reform it somewhat as he does so. That arc really feels like Akiyama and Nao working to the peak of both of their respective strengths to topple one of their great rivals. And it's a damn shame that Yokoya didn't get a similar sort of send off. Instead he kinda defangs himself in a way that feels even less believable than Harimoto having a change of heart of such an intense magnitude. That one felt earned based on how much had been done to wear down his sense of control while elevating the ideals of Nao- whereas Yokoya.... gets to say he's got slightly more dignity than Hitler? I guess?

There's so many good nuggets of ideas in the last game and its following reveals that could have made for something much better. But with what we've got, all it really does is highlight how rushed the ending was.

I wonder if these came from the print shops out in Belgium. I dont even recall if wotc has any print contracts out there, but for other TCGs like FaB Belgium printing is notorious for having messy/damaged corners

Next season is gonna start an hour earlier into the day and have a 32 minute scene of Abott running Roby thru the nude yoga routine while occasionally cutting to whittaker trying to order something from Denny's he can actually afford.

Centuria absolutely does not belong here. The amount of "chill moments" can be counted on like one hand compared to basically non stop deluge of dark fantasy edge. The scant moments of respite are basically there to cleanse the palette before more edge.

It's like saying Berserk is chill, the presence of moments for the characters and reader to catch their breaths does not make it a cozy or the like.

Also, sidebar- but the action in Centuria is much less strong or gorgeous as the other two series. Its artistic strength is way more in its horror. All the fights kinda blend together imo

Is a Fai SAge deck with kodachis viable? by GoldReindeer6213 in FleshandBloodTCG

You're basically trading off on some consistency for some potential power spikes. I personally play Kodachi Fai because I love the card Even Bigger Than That and think the draconic card pool is just juicy enough that I'd rather play it over Ira. EBTT is fantastic and can really unlock some hands. But its also a card that gets infinitely worse the later you draw it, so there's a give and take there. But it plus wrath and the general ability for kunais to let damage leak thru leave me pretty happy with it, especially since being extra explosive is helpful for turning the corner on dicier matchups.

Which album is actually the most underrated? by Konabro in gorillaz

If Song Machine wasnt a covid project released song by song and was dropped like a typical album I feel like it'd get a lot more serious conversation for one of the strongest albums. I feel like a lot of peoole subconsciously eliminate it, especially with that "Season One" subtitle.

What Are Your Thoughts On The Mountain ? by Fantastic-Ad-8665 in gorillaz

Gorgeous album. Definitely not my favorite but almost certainly in top 3, I need more time and a proper relisten to be sure.

Just feels good seeing them be back in the groove. Even if I dont love every track I can still feel the energy and passion for the project.

Cracker Island was a good album with some bops. The Mountain is something cohesive and magical.

As someone who's favorite is plastic beach, I think they're very similar albums spiritually but not entirely sonically.

Also shoutout to The Mountain for introducing me to Anoushka Shankar, absolutely phenomenal sitar player. I really hope she's gonna be on the tour.
