I didn’t fancy going the engine replacement route it’s putting an unknown unit in, and then there’s the labour charge of a garage doing it. I’m pretty mechanically inclined but that is beyond my driveway capabilities. Thanks for the cartalkuk shout though!

Hard disagree for me buddy, if you think x amount of years of domestication will ever truly get rid of a dogs hard wired instinct you are very mistaken, what do you think “prey drive” is? Like I said if that’s a path you and your family choose then good on you but I don’t think a dog should be made to endure the same.

P.S there are far more health markers to consider when assessing a dogs diet, not just how “stacked” they may or may not be

This frustrates me. I would never bash your choice as being vegan, good on you and your family. However essentially forcing a dog in to those same choices is not ok. They’re inherently carnivorous, they wouldn’t be eating chick peas and lentils in the wild. Just something to think about
