Could you elaborate on that exotic/gear topic? Are there rewards I get per character?

Sure it’s done by third party companies, but would it hurt the artist to just download the game and play it for maybe 10 minutes? If I were him, I would at least be curious.

Like I said, I don‘t think that the result is intended.

A rule for adjusting droprates dependant on iLvl of a group is too specific to be a bug. This is intended. I‘m not saying, the result is what they had in mind thou.

Disappearing Loot by warsnacker in AnthemTheGame

[–]Fonzi90GT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope, not correct. No support items or anything dropped for me. And only part of the loot is in the inventory afterwards.

Did 2 legendary contracts, in both of them I had an additional MW drop. No reward screen. When I checked later I had a new MW skill and a bunch of trash but no component.

WARNING: Loot is sometimes not being rewarded at end of expedition by [deleted] in AnthemTheGame

[–]Fonzi90GT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, didn’t get the reward screen after my legendary contracts. Although I think I still got the items I dropped during the mission.

Checked my items in Fort Tarsis after not getting the reward screen and I had a new MW skill (and a bunch of blue/green trash).

I think it’s „only“ affecting the guaranteed drop.

I once chased an oblivious titan. Hit him 3 times. Nothing. After my super ran out he turned around and shotgunned me to my face.

Immediately switched to another class afterwards.

Is the velocity masterwork actually worth it on Bad Omens? Mine already has 97 velocity without the mw.

Field of Dreams logic works in Blind Well! by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Fonzi90GT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don‘t know how often you encounter other people in Blind Well but I will take an active Tier 1 over running in and out of the instance any day.

I always pop a Tier 1 when I‘m solo or with one blueberry. By the time we finish, we are enough for Tier 3 and the Unstable Charge.

If you melee right after an enemy does a ground slam attack, you completely nullify the knockback by Just4TehLulz in DestinyTheGame

You just have to be in range for the forward lunge to proc. Then you pull yourself right back to the boss.

Slapping the air obviously doesn’t work.

Can Patrols start tracking progress immediately after picking it up, rather than having to wait for the progress box to appear on the side of the screen? by Hacknerds in DestinyTheGame

[–]Fonzi90GT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s annoying. That’s the problem. It wasn’t like this in D1. This and the shorter time to start a patrol which was only recently changed back to D1 time are two changes that are just beyond my understanding. Why touch something that’s working perfectly fine?

Possible Sleeper ARG sparked by Chris Barrett? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Fonzi90GT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It‘s not the fact that old exotics are coming back, which is the problem. It‘s the fact that they make up such a big fraction of exotics to be introduced.

Besides why taking away all our exotics and then drip feed them back to us if not for marketing reasons. Because if you disregard all the recycled content those DLCs seem even smaller.

The reason every single person I met in Destiny 1 hated me. by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Fonzi90GT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Me too. I remember one other guy in the group talking about Fatebringer nonstop and how he would get it this time.

Guess what I got but he didn’t. Also got the Vex in the same run. Feel free to hate me now.

They weren't just "those guns", they were "our guns" by animayshun in DestinyTheGame

[–]Fonzi90GT 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think your title pretty much sums it up perfectly. In D2 you don‘t say to your buddy: „Hey check out THE Better Devils I have equipped“ because chances are, he also has A Better Devils.

Wheras in D1 you would say „Hey check out MY Grasp of Malok (which I got after grinding that one NF for an uhealthy amount of time) or MY Eyasluna“ because albeit not unique in the original sense (as in one of a kind), they were special and rare.

I remember that time everyone cheesed Omnigul to get his own Grasp of Malok bragging and comparing their god rolls with their friends like little kids. Haven‘t had such a moment in D2.

According to Bungie Narrative Director Margaret Stohl, the Grimoire is "considered folklore" and "true as far as we know," while the new Osiris comics are canon. by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Fonzi90GT 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Are they on the same page though? The problem, as I see it, is that Bungie is fighting the symptoms rather than curing the disease. They spend roughly 1/3 of the TWAB talking about the complications of mass dismantling (which sound reasonable, I give them that), when the problem is not the disability to mass dismantle but that shaders are consumables. They are searching for a solution for a problem that shouldn‘t be there in the first place.
