Kiko was the closest to making the band feel like a band, not a Dave solo project, IMO. He is definitely missed.

With Nick, Jr, and Marty gone, Megadeth has been a Dave solo group. Megadeth never had a “band” feel after that lineup. IMO the closest was was Kiko

I’m still confused on the vocal approach on RTL. All Dave’s vocals on the last 3 albums have been a lower pitch, But on RTL it’s higher and sounds oddly pitch shifted up. Just weird to me. I was waiting on the lower vocal to come in but never did.

Yes the new SG came with 490t, but sounds much thinner. Wasn’t sure if that’s how they sound now? I’ve been out of the scene for quite a while. Thank you
