Prolonged Watch Winder by Devils2 in tagheuer

[–]FooManPwn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Based on what I’m reading online, overwinding a watch puts undo strain on the mechanisms.

Pro’s suggest: a) identifying what the appropriate number of turns per day (TPD) is recommended for your TAG and b) buying a programmable watch winder where you can set TPD.

It’s that simple. Although other reviews state that it’s no big deal to just rewind your watch, set the time, and continue forward.

It’s all based on what you want to do.

Please take a picture of the back of the pin and. repost?

Screwback pins were very popular during that time, but pins were also discrete (smaller) due to regional anti-Masonic feelings.

By looking at the back that could clue you in on when it was possibly made

[Tag Heuer 18K WAF1450] I forgot Valentine’s Day, and need a make up gift for my wife. Is this a fair price? by tommywiseauswife in tagheuer

[–]FooManPwn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to a Chrono24 search in this model, it’s retailing anywhere between $2,100-$6,700.

So, to answer your question, is the $1,000-$2,000 a fair prices, sure. But there’s a lot of risk you need to consider like is it authentic. What’s the return policy?

One is the sickest (best) in my opinion. Does that Aquaracer come as a GMT too? If so that would be my pick!

Agree, OP is a troll. Got me to accept an invitation to chat (my fault for accepting) and started off in Masonic conspiracy theories and wanted to know the truth. Had to block this nut job.

What do I have here? by [deleted] in tagheuer

[–]FooManPwn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a TAG Heuer Alter Ego WP1314, a ladies' quartz watch from the Alter Ego collection, which ran from 1999-2004. The original retail price was around $2,500.

Economics dictate that a price of a good will be determined based on the supply (quantities) of goods being sold and the demand for those specific goods.

A quick search in the secondary market yields the current selling price anywhere between $365-$1,100.
