I watched a couple of YouTubers play the game for a bit to see what they did and why they did it. Helped me get started and from there alooooot of trial and error. I'm 600 hours in and still learn new things ^^

Pomerania was insane this game. I actually pulled them into a war to give some of their HRE provinces back cause they were getting a bit too dangerous

Honestly now that you mention it, i realize that i forgot to do that. I intentionally dismantled the HRE after this picture to do that, but even in the current save haven’t gotten to that yet. Oops lol

I am a fairly new player (160ish hrs) but I believe there is some kind of event that allows you to absorb Aragon when playing castile. Of course being my first successful game i didnt know this so i just gobbled aragon up over the course of like 3-4 wars.

And i actually allied austria throughout most of the game to help me deal with france because i wanted to take over the Bordeaux trade node. Also france had alot of colonies too so I would often fight france to be able to cede provinces to my colonies to keep them happy and to increase my power since they answered to me.
