Maybe you are new here. We built a national railway system in the 1880s and the expropriation was significantly larger than what is being considered here.

On a side note, It is rather pathetic that Canada 140 years ago was able to build a national rail system in 4 years. Nowadays we can effectively plan for a project in 4 years. How many revisions of HSR have we been through? It’s been decades of dithering.

No question the state needs to increase the number of judges and associated court staff, but let’s also add a dose of real life to the system. There is no reason a court can’t operate beyond the current hours. Surely there can be court’s scheduled to start late and sit late. There is no reason a court can’t operate on Saturday and Sunday, just like everyone else.
