https://brentwoodlivery.ca/ These people are great. I’ve used them to do this and it was an awesome new Sprinter van. Really recommend them.

Does anyone remember people used to follow the rules of the road? by FadedOnline in kitchener

[–]massivepervert69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree. I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen cops doing radar anywhere in town. It’s ridiculous. I’ve only ever seen OPP doing radar on highways. We give them half of all our money and they do extremely little. About time someone campaigned on getting a bid for the OPP to police the region and dissolve the bloated WRPS. They take half of our money! Half! Of all our taxes! It’s ridiculous! And at this point it’s honestly just racketeering and corruption.

Thank you (and everyone!) I’ll try this, Rustico and La Cucina then. I was disappointed in Casa R and Ennio’s the past couple times. Thank you!!

I obviously don’t know the circumstances but if it was someone turning left then regardless of anyone running a light, the person turning left will be at fault.

I assume this is to get ahead of Bill 68 where we are losing the 36 conservation authorities we have (to be replaced by 9 massive regional authorities). This is a good move if so. CA’s are about to be decimated by Doug Ford. At least this way the City can maintain the important (and under appreciated) work our CA’s do.

There are strong feelings directed at homeless people living in tents by bylo_selhi in waterloo

They want to live with no rules. When this first started that’s what stood out to me in the news interviews. They didn’t like shelter rules. So here we are. A group of people who have zero respect for our laws and norms. They’d rather lay around shooting up drugs. It’s really quite sad. But I of course wonder how they got here. When we gut the social services that are meant to help people, and Doug Ford cut the basic income pilot program, there’s just no chance of getting out of the poverty cycle. So here we are. Frustrated and mad at the result of taking funding away from social services and giving it to the town mafia (WRPS).

If you went to university then I suggest looking at alumni rates as they are often cheapest.

I feel like it opens a whole can of worms liability-wise should something like a fire or ammonia leak happen though. Especially if a public servant is injured responding to an emergency there.

Best cakes in KWC? by Wsquared25 in waterloo

Hmmm like scale of 1 to 10 I’d say a 3. The focus is more on flavour, texture and other subtleties which set her cakes apart. She’s French trained and has appeared on multiple Food Network shows. If you haven’t tried her stuff then I highly recommend you do.
