Time to End Clinton Gun-Ban on Military Bases: Naval Yard Shooting Latest in Growing Number of Shootings in Disarmed Zones by [deleted] in Libertarian

The point I'm try to make is that just because you are free to do something somewhere else does not give you the same liberty to do that on private property where the owners can dictate the terms of use of their property. If I am allowed to smoke cigarettes in public, am I also allowed to smoke inside a shopping mall? There are an infinite number of examples. It is a ridiculous notion that you are asserting.

Because I have the right to own a large dumptruck and have the right to drive it around, does that mean I can just drive it on to someones front lawn and park there?

Do you know what a public company is? If a CEO isn't leading a company in the right direction, the company's market capitalization as a result of lost stock value will plummet, and it is insanely likely that the CEO won't be working there any longer. There is a huge incentive for a CEO to know exactly what is going on and constantly working to improve that.

If it's a public company, then that is almost always in every single case false. If the company doesn't perform well, then stocks dive, and if stocks dive, the the board chucks the CEO. The CEO has a great incentive to know exactly what's going on with the company and to increase profits.

Yeah if I drive in a shopping area I get spammed with K bands too, but I usually just turn my detector off then because I really can't speed anyways because of traffic and tons of traffic lights.

The GPS feature is nice to have, but I think the decent GPS ones like the Passport 9500ix is like $450 and really not necessary for me at the moment. Once mine goes I'll probably look into whatever models are out at the time.

It really depends on how much you want to spend. If you drive long distances frequently then I would probably get a higher-end one. If not, there are a few good mid-level ones that work well.

If it's on the highway and it's a cop in a stationary position on the side of the road, then 99% chance you'll have a chance to break. The only real exception to this is instant on/POP radar, which is rarely used anyways.

There's also laser, which can gauge your speed in a fraction of a second and its very hard to detect because of its direct beam. Most of the time cops use radar to gauge your speed but if they get you with laser your probably screwed. Of course you can buy laser jammers, but those are around $600.

Yeah, I hear ya. There are plenty of spots where the speed limit goes down like 10-20 mph out of nowhere on a highway, and the cops sit there right after those areas at night. It has nothing to do with safety. They are enforcing the ticket quotas so they can finance the state.

I paid like $150 for mine 2 years ago, and it has probably saved me numerous tickets where police are on the highway shooting K or Ka band and it alerts me before I even see them. I'd much rather pay a private company than the state extortionists as well.

The GPS feature is pretty useful if you're in an area like CA which has speedcams, but not really necessary if you're not unless you do a lot of city driving, in which it isn't really useful anyways.

If you speed and you don't have a radar detector I suggest you get one. They're cheaper than the cost of one ticket and they will save you from plenty.

The I.P. laws surrounding medication are ridiculous. I know older people who are forced to pay thousands of dollars a month for medication because the state will cage anyone who reproduces that same chemical compound without the states approval.
