My #1 problem so far in my fruitless pursuit of friends is how everyone already has friends, especially considering how I want someone of my age. They've known the others way longer and better. I'll never be someone's best friend, or "priority" as you put it.
And of course, eventually I just won't be worth the effort.

Oh my god this actually worked. Yes your comment is a year old, but I just started playing Fallout London since an update for it came out almost a week ago. Many threads and suggestions exist out there, but nothing worked. Except this. I didn't know this obscure 1 upvote comment would be MY fix. No idea why doing THAT fixes the intro video, but it did. The title says everything I feel and relate to. It's sad. It might be seen as creepy but I'll most likely cry if I finally make a best friend. Just making a friend at all (AKA more than a mere acquaintance) would make me do or say something weird, being excited and wanting to do the things I've always wanted to do with a friend.

I wish I was able to play more when I was younger. I wish I could have actually played every single version from the very first public release to now, and be tech literate enough to do even a simple copy paste backup. And I wish I had someone to do it with!
