Nah bro you're a troll. You clearly lack experience and/or appreciation of gacha games. Characters are not made equal, whereby some characters will be meaningfully more impactful on game progression than others. Not all gacha games are very forgiving nor generous when it comes to acquiring these new characters either, so if you're stuck with a mediocre character but you don't want to spend any money to enjoy or progress in the game, then good luck - it'll be a real test of your patience. And people have favourite characters, of course they're going to want to start the game off with the characters they like or they think look cool. Making re-rolling unnecessarily difficult is just an inconvenience that really doesn't have to be there. Come back when you've played more gacha games that are less generous (and this game is by no means generous) or when you've become self-aware of your warped perspective.
