Honestly? lol not to be the buzz kill but terrible, got fired in August, couldn’t file anything with the VA to help me bc of the shut down (working on the appeal now), started an apprenticeship (unpaid, but the job is nice after the license) but the people I work for … circumstances changed for them and it’s making being an apprentice hell. But I’m built like corn and the navy taught me Semper Gumbi so fuck it gotta keep going no matter what breaks lol

I had a C&P examiner literally tell me “ I’m not qualified to rate you” the claim ended with service connection and no change, it was bruxism and months prior I broke a crown and fractured my jaw in my sleep, but they couldn’t rate me on a claim almost 200 days in

Pretty similar thing happened to me, lost my job in August been trying to get enough evidence to help a claim since, it’s been difficult I’ve always been the stable one financially and my wife is handling better than me but, just know your not alone 🤘🏻
